Skye eventually dozed off and fell asleep.

Jay eventually fell asleep also as they laid there on the couch.

Skye slept lightly, bound to wake at any second, though it was more peaceful than normal.

Jay slept not as lightly. But if there was some weird noise or something he would be awake.

Skye woke a few hours later, though he didn't move, wishing he could go back to sleep.

Jay started waking up when Skye started waking up.

Skye hummed softly as he stared at the wall, wondering ho to get out of this awkward situation,

"Sorry." Jay mumbled. Then let go of him.

Skye hummed gratefully, moving back to the other side of the couch.

Jay sat back up awkwardly.

Skye ignored him, dealing with his own awkwardness internally.

"Are you hungry?" Jay asked and got up.

Skye looked up and shrugged, not really answering even though the answer was yes.

Jay nodded then went off and went to the kitchen to cook some food.

Skye hummed quietly to himself, an old song he'd known since childhood.

Jay decided to make some pasta.

Skye tried to ignore the delicious smell from the kitchen.

It didn't take long for Jay to finish.

Skye forced himself not to get up and investigate.
