Skye kept going, laughing as he slid through the streets but his movements became more grim as he kept going, leading them into a poor area.

Jay kept after him. "Don't die." He yelled as they ran.

"I won't" he called back, sliding as he turned into another alley, headed for the fire escape. "Come on!:

"Sorry, but I'm not as fast or athletic as you" Jay said and made it there.

Skye climbed to the roof, huffing as he stood, shivering a little in the wind. "Marco!" He called.

Jay got up there and breathed.

Skye kept looking around, "Come on,.. I know I'm not late…."

"Are you playing Marco Polo?" He asked and laughed.

"It's not funny!" He said to Jay, his eyes worried. "He could've frozen to death out here, I know he was just as bad off as me…"

"Well do you know where he could be?" He asked him instantly.

"No…" said skye, " he moves around too much, there are a million places he could be and-" he was cut off as a snowball hit him in the face.

Jay stepped back and laughed when Skye was hit with a snowball.

Skye spluttered for a momemt, before glaring at another, close to his age, standing onext the other side of the roof. "Who's your pal?" Asked Marco.

"I'm Jay." He said and waved.

Skype hummed, "might be dead if it weren't for him." Said Skye softly.

Jay smiled and looked down.

Marco nodded quietly, stepping up to Skye and wrapping him in a warm embrace, "I knew I should've given you my extra sweater…"

Jay stood and smiled at the two.

Marcos nodded to him, "Thanks for keeping my best mate alive" he said softly, letting go.

"You're welcome. Though he was a bit stubborn." Jay replied.

Skye rolled his eyes, "I have my dignity" he said softly.
"And stubbornness is what keeps you alive out here.." said Marco.

"Yeah stubbornness may keep you alive. But not when you're freezing to death."

Skye shrugged, "I could've made it…" he said softly. Knowing full well he wouldn't've.

"Sure you could have." Jay said and nodded not convinced.

Skye sighed, "Anyway…." he said, "You have it?" he asked.
