Bridge giggled a little bit, not at all scared or worried now. Even with a person he'd only known for about a day, he felt comfortable, relaxed, and happy, all at the same time - something that hadn't happened for years.

Wolf's smile grew at Bridge's giggle, and he bent his head down to place a quick kiss against his lips before he pulled back and rolled back over onto the bed.
Bridge was still blushing some, but more smiling as he turned to face Wolf. "Thank you."
"For what? Kissing you?" he asked jokingly as he looked back at Bridge.
"Well, that too. But mostly for staying with me for that long. And liking me." Bridge spoke quietly. "I've…I've never been kissed."
Wolf's brows flicked up in slight surprise. I took his first kiss. He wasn't sure how he felt about that, but his gaze softened nevertheless. "There's nothing that would make me want to leave you behind," he said gently.
“Really…I mean, really?” Bridge asked him, still uncertain despite everything that had happened.
Wolf chuckled. "Really really," he said, then turned his head as he yawned.
“Thank you…thank you, then,” Bridge accepted with a smile.
Wolf nodded, then shimmied under the covers. "Mmmm, we should get to sleep."
“Okay.” Bridge agreed, leaning his head against Wolf’s chest with a smile only he could see.
Wolf wrapped an arm around Bridge as his eyes slowly grew heavy.
Bridge smiled softly, snuggling into Wolf with a happy sigh before shutting his own eyes.
Wolf eventually fell asleep to the warmth from Bridge and the dreams replaying their kiss.
(Uuuuhhh, maybe a week from then? Maybe the watch eventually storms the place because they think people are hiding there)
(Okay)
Bridge’s eyes blinked open, glittering bright gold for a moment before he shielded the sun with his eyes.
Wolf groaned and grabbed a pillow to throw over his head, blocking the sun from searing his eyeballs. He hated mornings, always have.
“Good morning,” Bridge murmured quietly, sitting up and running a hand through his hair.
"Mornin'," he mumbled, his voice husky from sleep. He kept the pillow thrown over her head, trying desperately to go back to sleep. He knew that it was impossible, but he could believe.
Bridge swung his legs up and out of the bed, standing up and going over to the desk where food was stationed. He had been sort of worrying about an inspection for a couple of days now.
Wolf peeked out from underneath the pillow watching Bridge. He wasn't hungry just yet, so he just laid there, blankets twisted around his body and pillows lumped around him.
Bridge looked back at him with a small smile, taking a bite out of a brownie that had been left on the table. "Are…are you awake yet?"
"Physically? Yes. Mentally? No. This bed and the blankets are too comfy and I don't want to move," he said honestly, pulling the pillow off his head, causing his hair to stick up every which way.
"Your hair is pretty like that," Bridge told him, blushing just a little. Throughout the past week, he'd become less shy and more open around Wolf, but he was still a long way from being smooth.
