"Nah, it's not cheating so long as you win. Really, I don't see anything wrong with doing what it takes." Sam chuckled, pulling Augustine out of his pocket and he turned to go into his bedroom to take care of Harina again.
"And indeed! It'll be even better than they actually earned some of that pedestal." The man stepped up to his bed, setting Augustine down as he moved to ungag Harina.

"Ha, that's what I like to hear." Karia grinned and casually followed Sam into his room. He wanted to see what would happen when Harina and Augustine saw each other. "Mmm, yep." He nodded. Augustine seemed to almost pass out when they saw Harina.
"You! He– Harina!" Augustine spluttered, causing Karia to start laughing uncontrollably. Their reaction was really too funny. Especially since they were so small.
"What, I told you she was here!" Sam laughed heartily as well, sitting down on the bed next to the two dolls. He tossed the socks to the side, motioning for Karia to sit next to him if the man wished to.
"She was less of a fight than you were, and that's saying something!" The man moved Harina to face them, smirking some as he tilted her chin up a bit in one finger.
"Did you behave while we were gone?" he teased, knowing she couldn't have done anything.
"I– but–" Augustine broke off, not seeming to be able to speak anymore. Karia snorted and sat down next to Sam.
"What the hell. Augustine?" Harina yelled, staring at Augustine and then trying to bit Sam's finger. "Get your hands off of me!" Karia raised his eyebrows at Harina.
"Congrats, Augustine. You are the winner of the losers!" Karia grinned and patted their head with one finger.
Sam chuckled some when Harina tried to bite him, hitting his knuckles against her forehead and knocking her over, legs still straight up, now in the air.
"Watch it, before I glue your mouth shut," he warned, looking a bit more serious with it.
"And indeed! For now. I'm sure someone will come to dethrone you once again." Sam chuckled, even more so when Karia patted their head.
Harina, having found herself knocked over, let out a yell of anger, then quickly shut her mouth. Sam must have scared her with his threats of gluing her mouth shut. Karia found this hilarious.
"You two are crazy," Augustine decided.
"Yeah, so what? You two are crazy, too." Karia rolled his eyes and glanced over at Sam with a slight smile. "Everyone's crazy. It's not a bad thing."
"I must agree. Besides, this world would be absolutely no fun at all if no one was crazy." Sam reached over when Harina had finally decided to shut up, or at least stopped trying to bite him, picking her up by the torso to set her back into a sitting position.
"Imagine a world full of goody two shoes, just going about their days with nothing new or exciting happening expect for the drab birthday party being thrown for Martha two cubicles down."
"See? He gets it." Karia gestured at Sam with his chin, narrowing his eyes at Augustine. They seemed to be pouting now, probably annoyed that Karia had just destroyed them. "Oh, gods!" Karia shivered at the thought, looking horrified. "That sounds like the single worst thing I've ever heard."
"Mhm…" Sam shivered as well, pulling one knee up to his chest as he looked down at the two dolls between himself and Karia. He didn't normal do this, just have a sit down and chat with anyone at all, let alone dolls. He had to admit, he was having fun.
"Not to mention, if people weren't crazy, we wouldn't have all the technology and knowledge that mankind has acquired." Sam looked up at Karia, chuckling some.
"All in all, humans have to at least have some level of craziness to survive. Some just get luckier than others."
Both Harina and Augustine seemed to decide that silence would be the best course of action at this moment, and Karia had to agree. It was nice talking with Sam and just Sam– he usually didn't get the chance to simply chat with Ocean, the only other person he really made contact with. The man was way too busy for that.
"Oh, you make a good point!" Karia exclaimed, nodding in agreement. "Being crazy is really a gift. One that I have taken full advantage of." He gave both the dolls a smirk.
"Yes, I do have to agree. What good is being crazy if you don't?" Sam chuckled some, taking a moment to look down at all the dolls he didn't give the privilege of speaking to. He looked back down at Harina and Augustine, then to Karia. He wasn't sure when was the last time he spent this much time with someone without adding them to the collect, but he had to admit this was nice. Karia had proven himself to be someone Sam actually liked.
"Honestly, not enough people do it in this society."
Karia nodded, tapping each of the dolls' heads with his pointer finger. "You see, it was you who was not crazy enough!" He laughed and looked at Sam. "Imagine what life would be like if everyone embraced their craziness and used it to their advantage! Life would be a lot more interesting, that's for sure."
"It would be! Of course, there would always need to be people who aren't very crazy at all. There would need to be some balance so the world doesn't just fall into absolute chaos. There do need to be moments of calm." Sam chuckled some as Karia tapped the two, folding his legs under him now. He ended up pulling Harina into his lap, messing with her hair some. He always seemed to be doing something with his hands, never able to hold still for long.
"Ah, yes, good point." Karia tapped his chin. He hadn't thought of that, but Sam was right. There did need to be some boring people to make sure everyone else didn't destroy the world.
"Hey!" Harian yelped when Sam grabbed her, seeming very annoyed that he was playing with her hair.
"Ha!" Karia giggled. The two dolls' reactions to what was happening were extremely funny to him for some reason.
Sam laughed some as Harina protested, continuing what he was doing. He found the reactions cute, really. It was funny how they thought they had any control at the moment at all. He did a simple braid, then undid it and started on a French braid instead.
"All in all, I think the world could use just a bit more crazy, but it's otherwise perfectly fine."
Harina, noticing that her protests were only getting her more attention, lapsed into an angry silence. She probably thought she was radiating rage, but given her size and the fact that Sam was currently braiding her hair, it didn't work. Karia giggled again, wishing he could take a picture of this moment right now. It was just so perfect. He didn't have anything to do it, though, so he settled with taking a mental one. "Mmm, you're right." Karia nodded, a bit dreamily.
Harina was just acting so cute. Why was small people being angry cute? Sam had no idea, but he knew it to be true.
"I'm glad, of course, to be able to encounter others just as crazy as me." the man glanced up at Karia, offering a smirk. He finished Harina's hair, tying it off and setting it over her shoulder.
"Yes, that is a true blessing." Karia agreed, grinning at him. He really was glad Sam hadn't turned him into a doll when they first met. That wouldn't have been fun at all. "Ha! She looks so precious!" Karia turned his attention to Harina, smirking at her. "You did a good job with her hair," He added, glancing up at Sam.
"Why, thank you. I've had a lot of practice, even before I started collecting." Sam hummed some, setting Harina to the side finally.
"She really does look so adorable," he commented, chuckling some. He moved a bit closer to Karia as they spoke, Augustine and Harina pushed together some with the motion.
"Well, it shows." Karia nodded in appreciation. "Hey, maybe you could do my hair at some point. I can make it long enough to do anything." He grinned, looking at Harina again. "Mn, yeah." Both the dolls remained silent. Harina was probably trying to process what just happened, and Augustine was probably trying not to draw attention to themself. Whatever the true reason was, Karia was fine with their silence.
"I think that sounds nice," Sam said, smiling at Karia. "It'd be interesting to do it on a human, I must admit. And I wouldn't mind spending the time with you." The man laughed some, glancing down at the two dolls. Why, they were being as silent as the other one's in the room, who didn't have a choice.
Yeah, it'd be fun," Sam finally concluded.
"Oh, that's awesome!" Karia exclaimed, grinning brightly and clapping his hands together a few times. He'd never had anyone do his hair, so he was pretty excited. "I'm free whenever, so…" He pressed his lips together, glancing over at Sam with a little shrug. Augustine let out a little scoff, seeming to forget themself for a second.
Sam nodded some.
"Well, we can do it now if you'd like, while we talk." The man glanced down at Augustine when he heard the scoff. Oh, really? Sam grabbed them with one hand, pulling them onto his lap. The man started to undo their own braid with one hand, humming some.
"Alright!" Karia nodded, then looked at Augustine. "But we can wait until you deal with them." He stuck his tongue out at Augustine, annoyed that they'd broken their silence. It had been much nicer when it was just him, Sam, and two dolls.
"Wait, no, don't– Stop!" Augustine yelped, making Karia snicker despite himself. Their useless protests were always funny, no matter what.
It had been much nicer nervous, but Augustine had to go and ruin it. So, Sam undid Augustine's braid, reaching into his pocket a moment before pulling out a small plastic brush that was guaranteed to pull out some hair and hurt like hell. The man started brushing out the small doll's hair, their head bring pulled back with each stroke.
