Good afternoon darlings! It's your favorite subpar erotic fiction writer and purveyor of nonsense. I'm here to post what people have told me is called a playing of roles, and I have a prompt for the first person who dares enter my cave of wonders.

The vampires and fae have been at war for centuries. But there are still some good Samaritan types out there who just want this fight to end. So when a vampire is injured by highwaymen fairies out for blood, one of those figures, a kindly fae doctor with a knack for finding people in need, happens to pass by just in time to take the vampire back to their home and to take care of them until they recover.

However, romantic feelings quickly blossom and only when it is too late and they are already all too entangled with each other do things get dangerous for them. Will they continue with this affair, or will they be torn apart by their own desire?

This is going to contain adult themes and sexual content (eventually) so I expect the joiner of this to be 16+ and to be comfortable with sharing their triggers so I don't cross a line. Have fun, loves!

There was something enchanting about dancing in the rain, feeling the cool droplets race across his skin, the feeling of the wet ground beneath his toes, and the sound of thunder off in the distance. There was no need for music, after all nature made it for him. The toads that sang in the ponds, the birds calling out to one another in the trees, the drips of rain, the thunder, and the tapping of his own two feet. He didn't need a dancing partner, he was his own partner. He was the happiest he had been in ages. Why, you might ask? Because he was finally free. No more cages, no more lies, just him on his own, dancing gleefully in the rain. For once in his life he felt no grief, no remorse for what he had done. He was here, wasn't he? He raised his face to the clouds, letting the droplets wash him of his past, and cleanse him for his new beginning.

(A short excerpt from a story I'm currently writing! I hope it's acceptable!)

Beautiful, love! Now, should we start discussing exactly how our characters will meet and how the story should go?

It's up to whichever you would like to play, I have characters for both parts.

You're right on the mark, that is what I planned on happening.

I know some people on here prefer to do templates, but I don't intend to make one because I like to develop characters in-roleplay. You can make a template if that suits you, however, I will choose not to.

I'm generally better with t4t pairings since I write mainly t4t content, but any gender goes.

Dictatia Grenwithe was crossing the border between Aduran and The Keep when he was attacked by some passing revolutionaries out for vampire blood. They were everywhere in these parts, Dictatia was surprised that he hadn't been attacked sooner. However, they hadn't succeeded in killing him, they hadn't burned his heart and thus only greatly weakened him. Thus, Dictatia lay there, watching sour blood seep out of his chest, from his wounds, drip into his glazed-over crimson eyes, flecked with hints of vermillion. His blond locks were now matted and tangled, it had been days since the attack and his corpse of a body was simply rotting here, slowly. He was technically dead, but still aware of everything and capable of being healed by someone who understood vampire biology. If he could just reach his heart, or something

Life was messy, especially with the war happening. They had been born into the war, had seen the way it tore families apart. Had witnessed the pain and death, and all they wanted in life was for the war to end. Aeris released a deep breath as they walked along the border, wondering vaguely what they could do to stop the horrendous war that was happening- not like they could do much. To be completely honest, Aeris didn't even know the truth behind the war anymore. The story had been warped so many times that there was no clear answer. But they startled out of their thoughts when they saw blood, as well as a body. As a healer, and as a doctor for some time, it was their first and natural instinct to rush forward, brushing their white hair from their eyes to assess the damage. They inhaled sharply when they realized what they were looking at was a bleeding vampire. But- they were a doctor, and at the moment, they didn't care about the bias or the war. Right now someone was injured, and needed their help. They dug through their bag, "Hold still, I'm going to stem the bleeding." They spoke softly, their voice was as sweet as honey, their slender fingers carefully inspecting the body. The vampire was still alive, that was a relief. Aeris wasn't sure if they could sneak the vampire back to their house, but they doubted they could get the vampire across the border and not be killed on the spot.

Dictatia could only sit there and wait for this stranger-a fae, worse-to take care of him, something he would not deign to allow were he in normal shape. He couldn't move, his blood was about as thick as a syrup but he had lost so much of it over the past few days that his limbs were dry powder at this point. His heart was sitting just a yard away, stamped on and beaten but still pathetically trying to pump absolutely nothing. It was covered in dust mixed with Dictatia's blood, and seemed so mournsome and pathetic all on it's own.
