Myrah's eyes shot opened when she felt Ferris brush her hand. Her face blushed a bright red pink color and she almost missed her singing line, "Th-thaat's been gone, but used to be mine."
Myrah's eyes shot opened when she felt Ferris brush her hand. Her face blushed a bright red pink color and she almost missed her singing line, "Th-thaat's been gone, but used to be mine."
Ferris laughed lightly and pulled her hand away "Used to be mine."
Myrah used her other hand to grab the free hand. She liked holding her hands, "She is messy, but she's kind."
She smiled down at their hands "She is lonely most of the time."
"She is all of this mixed up and baked into a beautiful pie," Myrah smiled up at Ferris.
She glanced up at Myrah "She is gone, but she used to be mine" she sang slowly, ending the song off with a small smile "I know its not Disney but its one of my favorite songs.
Myrah smiled back and gave a slight shrug, "It is a good song. I see why you like it."
She nodded and glanced away "Now what? anything you want to do?" She asked
"I'm up for whatever really," Myrah responded looking down at their hands. She felt if she held on any longer things might get awkward, but she didn't want to let go.
"Ice cream?" She suggested, lacing their hands together and standing, tugging Myrah with her
Myrah grinned happy Ferris didn't seem to want to let go either, "Sounds great."
She smiled and started walking towards the road that led away from the school campus "any preferred flavor?" she asked, not wanting the walk to the ice cream parlor to be awkward silence
"I like chocolate or strawberry," Myrah responded following Ferris swinging her arms in a natural movement, "What about you?"
"Chocolate..and toasted coconut." swinging her arm along "we literally could draw or manifest the ice cream without abilities..but wheres the fun in that?"
"I don't know," Myrah shrugged with a laugh, "Maybe not having to pay for the ice cream?"
"True," She said, pointing at her with her free hand "but it's never as good as the authenticity of true ice cream, there's always something off."
Myrah was half tempted to try and bite at the finger, but figured not to do something weird like that, "Yeah. There always is, but it's better than school food."
"True again, but I think that goes for most mediocre foods in the world. Literally, anything is better than school food….well, save for a few" She laughed again and turned a corner
Myrah laughed with her, "Oh? What food is worse than school food?"
"Bacon…."She shuddered "I love pork but i hate bacon, never knew why."
"What?" Myrah looked at her slightly shocked, "But bacon is great!"
She shook her head "don't know, just never appealed to me." She swung open the door to the parlor and held it open
Myrah walked through the door and glanced around warily, "Makes sense, but bacon is amazing and you need to respect that."
"sorry, can't." She followed and walked to the counter "hi! I'll have a large chocolate and coconut waffle cone."
Myrah sighed and walked up next to her, "I want a medium chocolate and strawberry cone."
