She glanced around, having none. "Give me a sec." She touched a hand to the tree she was slumped against and manifested some pressed paper. The part where her hand touched the tree glowed when she pulled back "Will this do?" she asked with a shy smile
Myrah took the paper and grinned, "It's perfect."
She doodle something small. A little fence with a stick figure in the center with big bright eyes. Her eyes glowed as the entire drawing came to life.
Ferris glanced down at the drawing, surprised that it jumped from the page. She glanced up at Myrah, about to ask how she had done the feet when she saw that her eyes her glowing, much like her own did when she released her magic. She was more enticed by Myrah than the actual power
Myrah looked to Ferris her eyes still glowing there deep ocean blue, "Pretty cool right? I can bring anything I draw into existence, but it's pretty tiring."
Ferris nodded automatically, still watching Myrah. She glanced down at her outstretched hand, holding the paper and gently put her hand on her wrist "Any better?"
Myrah felt a rush of energy from the touch, "Um, yeah. Is that part of your abilities?"
Ferris shook her head "no, that's very new." E muttered, still holding Myrah's gaze
Myrah continued to look at Ferris her pupils growing big and small. She knew what this meant, or dear lordie, "That's interesting. Am I the first person you've met with glowing eyes."
She nodded "other than my mother, yes." She broke the gaze and glanced down at the ground, releasing her hand as well "you?"
"I have an older sibling that has it," Myrah responded quickly looking down at the ground trying to calm her fluttering heart. Why was she such a sucker for pretty girls? Why? Why? Why? "I don't know if my parents have it though."
She nodded "maybe your grandparents if not your parents." She mused. No duh, idiot, who else? She sighed, she was screwed, so, so badly.
Myrah nodded, "Um yeah. We should, uh, probably get back to class shouldn't we?"
She glanced back up towards campus and nodded "yeah, probably. I'll just say I got sick or something." She said, making her way to the school "coming?"
Myrah quickly stood up and followed after letting the drawings return to drawings, "Oh yeah! I'm coming."
Ferris smiled softly, watching as Murah put the drawing back onto the paper. " First one there gets first dibs on lunch?" She offered, getting ready to run
Myrah gave Ferris a grin, “Sure why not. I’ll see you there!” She began sprinting off towards the school.
She raised her hands "you cheater!" She ran to catch up Myrah, loving the feeling of the wind in her face and hair, enjoying the feeling
Myrah laughed as she ran faster. She felt her curls bounce on her back as she ran to the school, “You never said I couldn’t!”
"Yeah but I assumed the count of three rule applied!" she called back with a laugh, running faster to try to catch up to Myrah
"You should have said so!" Myrah called back slowing down as she reached the school doors, "Otherwise anything goes."
She slowed to a light walk and shook her head "you ran off before I could say anything, you cheater." He nudged her shoulder and swung open the door
Myrah walked in after Ferris giggling. She responded in a teasing voice, "Oh come on. It's not like you wouldn't do the same."
She glanced back over her shoulder "I was going to wait until I said 2 to book it but we never got there because little miss cheater decided to run off before the countdown." SHe headed down the hall to the bathroom where she had left her contacts. Ferris kept her eyes down to hide her eyes from any student passing in the halls
Myrah had a twinkle in her eyes as she continued to follow Ferris, "You're just mad I beat you."
She glanced back at Myrah, eyes sparkling purple "keep thinking that." She muttered with a wink, shoving open the girl's bathroom door and finding her contacts.
