Myrah finished her painting within an hour or so. There hadn't been a lot to finish up, but she was beaming from ear to ear as she glanced from her arm to the painting. The painting matched the small doodle Ferris had made, but with Myrah's artistic flair to it. She looked at her paint covered hand and pajamas before going to take a shower. Myrah felt like dressing up today, why not indulge herself.
She grabbed her phone and keys and headed to the forest. Wanting to get away from the city scape and into some nature. She plugged in some headphones and started playing some dark music, the kind that would send you to an asylum if herd by normal people. She laughed and started dancing to the music
Myrah took her towel and rubbed her head a few more times. She had changed into a strapless purple shirt with billowy sleeves connected to the rest of the top, a nice black skirt that hugged her body, knee high heeled black boots, a purple lace choker, and a silver purse. After her hair had dried she went through the painstaking process of straightening her hair. Finally after what felt like forever, Myrah finally was ready to leave the house.
once safely in the forest and away from prying eyes, Ferris conjured her favorite element. Fire. Care ful to not burn anything, Ferris started dancing g around to the music, singing along "burn the witch! hAHaHa! Burn the witch!"
Myrah shot a text off to Ferris, 'hey want to meet up 2day?'
Ferris glanced down at the text that had interupted her song and smiled "sure, RN I'm in the forest but we can meet somewhere else? Have any place in mind?"
'restaurant maybe?' Myrah sent back smiling, 'ur pick'
"sure how about Boreillie's?" she asked, dancing about in the forest
'sounds good,' Myrah said grabbing her purse and heading out the door, "I'm going out with a friend!"
Lotus called back to her sister, "Don't die!"
"I won't!" Myrah shouted back with a slight giggle, 'c u soon'
"sooner than you think," Ferris texted, heading out of the forest towards the city
Myrah grinned and glanced around. She didn't respond figuring Ferris would spot her soon.
She brushed out all the leaves from her hair and put her phone in her jacket pocket. She pulled her hood down, hiding her eyes from anyone. She entered the restaurant silently and took a seat in the back
Myrah arrived at the restaurant and looked around to see if she could spot Ferris. She spotted the girl and smiled before walking over to Ferris, "Hey Ferris!"
Ferris glanced up and smiled "hey! told ya it was sooner." she laughed and pulled her hood back
"You did," Myrah responded with a slight laugh as she slid into her seat, "So how have you been?"
"since yesterday? Nothing new really. This keeps happening though." She pointed to her eyes and sighed, "they keep flashing purple and I have no clue why."
“Huh,” Myrah looked at her eyes, “Have you been using, ya know?”
Ferris nodded and ucked as a waitress passed by "yeah, before I came here in the forest near the park." She said quietly, hoping no one overheard
"Then I don't know why they keep flashing," Myrah responded, "Mine act up whenever I haven't used my ability in a long time."
"yeah that happen s too…hm, I don't know. Maybe just a maturing thing." She shrugged and kept her eyes down. "so how ya been since yesterday?"
"I've been good," Myrah looked over at Ferris, "Finished a painting this morning."
"really? What of?" She asked, interesting in Myrah's work. "Does it do the same as when you draw on you arm?" She asked quietly
"Uh yeah," Myrah responded quietly glancing at her arms, "But only if I want it to. And, uh, I got kind of inspired by your little doodle from yesterday."
She smiled softly "aw, my little doodle was your muse for a painting? I'm honored," she giggled and nodded "so you can choose."
