He sighed softly. "Yes, that seems like a decent place to rest." To Abaven, any place would be a decent place to rest right now. He sat down on the rocks and closed his eyes, but made sure to still listen closely and peek his eyes open every once in a while.
(did you want to play the assassin or did you want me to?)
Adelina smiled and sat down on one of the rocks, sighing as she relaxed. She was glad to have a break, she had been getting very tired.
(I can since you did Adelina's sister and the person following them in the woods. When should the assassin come though?)
(Probably some time right about now, but it's ultimately your call-)
Abaven made the mistake of feeling comfortable, and he let his guard down. He let out a soft sigh. "Even rocks are comfy… I must be losing my mind."
"No no, I feel the same… it's been a long day already." Adelina smiled closing her eyes. After a little, she got lost in her own world, not noticing the third set of steps coming toward her. The pace picked up, then a stick cracked, jerking Adelina out of her world and into the real one. Her eyes open again, she jumped off the rock upon seeing a man charging. She hid behind the rock, but deciding it was not a good idea, she stood up, running to Abaven.
(I'm just gonna bump this…)
(I just don't want this to die completely…yet)
