Revil shuffled up the cards more and divvied them up swiftly. “Okay! Ten cards.”

Revil had barely won this time. He got lucky because he had a draw four as his last card. He plopped it down, laughing triumphantly.
“And the champion wins again!”

"Okay, okay… You win," Skylar sighed, setting her cards down.

Revil laughed softly and collected up her cards. “Luck is on my side. Did you want to play another game?”

Skylar sighed and crinkled her nose slightly. “What about Risk? Have you ever played that?”

“Risk?” Revil repeated with a slight tone of confusion. “No, I haven’t.”

“It’s really fun. It involves a lot of strategizing,” Skylar said as she stood and walked over to grab the box.

Revil looked down at the floor. He wasn’t the best at strategizing.
“That sounds… fun.” He put on a slight smile.

“It’s going to be great. It’s one of my favorite games,” Skylar declared as she set it on the table. “Come sit over here.”

Skylar grinned and laughed happily. “Yes! Finally! I won this time!”

Revil scowled and put down his piece. “Great job!” He couldn’t help feeling proud of her.

“Hey, you won the first two games, it was only fair that I won at least one,” Skylar declared, still laughing lightly.

Revil waved a finger, grinning against himself. “I suppose it is, Sky. Do you wanna win a second time or set it away again?”

"Oh, I think I've played enough games for the night," Skylar sighed, smiling at him. "It was fun having you here."

Revil stretched out and yawned. “It was fun being here. Did you want my cheesecake?”

"Oh, no. I'm sure I would just eat it all in one sitting if I kept it," Skylar chuckled. "Well… Maybe I'll keep a few pieces…"

Revil laughed. “There’s nothing wrong with that! Keep it.”

"No, really, it'll make me sick if I eat that much," Sklyar said with a light laugh. "I'll just take a few pieces."

Revil shook his head. “It’s yours now.”

Skylar crinkled her nose at him. “Are you trying to make me sick?” she joked with a smile.

Revil laughed softly. “No! I’m trying to make you happy.”

“I’ll be happy if you take some of it back with you so that I don’t eat it all in one sitting and throw up later,” Skylar chuckled.

Revil laughed. “You’ll just have to learn self control!”
