(i totally understand, my brain is fried too and my thought process is all sort of eff'd up atm. so, if at any point my reply makes no sense whatsoever, just lemme know and ill edit it lolololol!)
The midday sun was beating down on the city surrounding the pharaohs palace, yet the people seemed to pay no mind. A young woman walks along the streets, her long linen dress is simple in design, no sleeves with a lowered front to expose the center of her chest and a slit up to the left hip. If it werent for the gold and brightly colored jewelry that hung about her neck and arms, she would have looked like anyone else. Her dark brown hair flows behind her as she walks at a brisk pace, her brows furrowed, its easy to tell that something is bothering her.
"How dare they…" she mumbles as she glares holes into the open scroll in her hands. "…i hope the desert swallows them all…" still mumbling under her breath, Zahra began reading it again, fury reflected in her deep blue eyes as she became consumed in her thoughts and the words on the paper. 'i hope they sit on snakes' The viziers had belittled her in the meeting and if it werent for her husband, she would have lit them all on fire. Focusing on her anger, she paid no mind on where she was walking.
(Oh my. I'm not good at writing that long. But I can write an okay length, sorry.)
Aziza had been working like any other day when he noticed a woman- a rather beautyful one- who seemed extremely angry. "Ma'ma, is everything alright?" He asked as he walked up to her. It took a moment but he saw her jewelry that seemed to sparkle in the bright sun, and he some how missed. "Oh- my apologies ma'am."
(dont worry about typing huge paragraphs, its a habit of mine from once upon a time ago D: just type the length you feel most comfortable with :D )
Zahra had been startled by the stranger, jumping slightly from the scare and dropping the scroll. "Oh! oh you scared me. I apologize, I was lost in thought. but yes, everything is…" She paused, bending over to pick up her source of anger, "….fine." She stood upright and let out a heavy sigh "Actually, i dont suppose you know of a secluded spot? I need to avoid home for a little bit." She smiled sweetly ' Because if i go back now, someone will get hurt' Zahra though to herself.
Aziza knit his eye brows together, "a um, a what?" He asked awkwardly not quiet understanding the lady's question. "I mean, I do know of sucuded spots but um, aren't you?" He trailed off not finishing his sentence. Aziza kept his eyes on her face not wanting to seem rude. He placed a hand behind his head and rubbed his neck, as he often did when he found himself in awkward situations.
Zahra tilted her head inquisitively as she stared back "Aren't I, what?" Not wanting to be obvious about it, she studied the mans face, trying to get some sort of insight of him from his facial expressions. "If you are asking if im the Pharaohs wife, then yes…..has it really been so long since ive been out? I should change that." Zahra mumbled the last bit to herself while making a mental note to go outside more often.
"The, Pharaohs wife?" Aziza kept his jaw from dropping and quickly bowed, "your highness, my apologies. I- I didn't know." He kept his eyes glued to the ground and didn't risk looking up, the fear of what might happen to him if he did. "Would you like me to call the guards to escort you back?"
Zahra stifled a laugh as she watched the man become embarrassed, she really did enjoy seeing the shock on peoples faces. "You dont need to apologize, nor bow." she reached out to him to let him know he could stop, but stopped short when he offered to call the guards, "NO!" she shouted, "I…i mean, no thank you. I'm actually trying to avoid guards AND the palace at the moment." she looked away sheepishly.
Aziza carefully stood again but quickly jumped when she shouted. "Oh. Is that why you asked for a secluded place? To hide from the guards? And palace?" Again he placed his hand behind his head and rubbed his neck. "I know of some places. Though I'm not sure they're very clean, nor if you'd like them."
"Yes, i need to let myself calm down. You probably don't care, but there was a…heated, debate between myself and the council. And i need to make sure i dont burn any bridges by getting too angry." She chuckled to herself, realizing that she probably sounded like a menace. She looked back to him with her sapphire eyes and smiled softly "As long as its away from any guards, i dont care how dirty it is."
"Oh, my apologies." Aziza bowed his head, "but of course, this way." He waved a hand and began twords a place between two houses. Of course, it was dirty as he said. But it was the closest and he didn't want people thinking strange things. "This place is kinda shady, would you like me to leave you? Or stay?"
Zahra followed close behind him as he led her to a safe spot away from the guards who would surely be looking for her. She glanced around the small space, and smiled "This is perfect, thank you. And, you may stay if you wish. I promise i wont mind." She happily walked to a cleaner spot and promptly sat on the ground. "But, if you have things to do, i dont want to keep you from them."
