Clara sighs, “I told you—“ She shifts her feet, moving her leg out of the way before kicking the girl’s hand just hard enough to make her drop the blade and then pulls out her own, bringing the hilts into contact with her head, knocking her out.
Lavendar could barely register what had happened after her attempted attack, she could only recall dropping her blade and a throbbing pain in the back of her head, before her body hit the ground. Her vision blurred, she could barely make out the figures in front of her before her vision went black.
Clara catches the girl and then carries her to her destination, laying her on a small palet and checking her head, making sure she wasn’t bleeding.
Lavi's eyes softly blinked open, the only thing she could recognize was the same throbbing in her head and a sharp pain in one of her hands. She had no idea where she was, but she felt someone touching her head. "What are you doing?" Lavi mumbled, her mind still scattered.
“Making sure you’re not bleeding, she hold up three fingers, “How many finger am I holding up?” She asks. She hand’t seen any blood, and that was good. She was told not to hurt her target, though she probably went a little to far.
Lavendar struggled to see the girl's fingers through her fuzzy vision, "Two- three?" She was a bit annoyed at herself for not being able to see the obvious. Lavi reached her hand to her side then shot up. "My satchel! Where… where is it?" Her voice trailed off as she pressed her hand back to her head and gasped in slight pain.
Her hand still on her head, she asked breathlessly, "What is your name? Where's my satchel?"
Clara sighs, “Your vision is blurry. Take a moment and we’ll try again.” She hums, “It’s over there.” She points, “But you need to lay down and take a moment, you’ll hurt yourself.”
"Ye- yes, of course, thank you," She hesitantly laid down on her side, "you still haven't answered me though, who are you?" Many more questions swirled in her head, but she thought it would be better to take things one at a time, "What do you want from me?"
Clara stays quiet for a moment, “I want nothing from you. Someone else wants you. Unless I have the wrong person, which is possible, as I wasn’t given a very detailed description.”
(Yep. Sorry about that…)
Lavendar shot back up, "Why? What for?"
Clara shrugs, “I was hired to do a job. Nothing more.”
(NAw, it’s fine. I’m in a lazy mood, XD)
"Okay, but who the hell are you?!"
Clara stays quiet, humming to herself, looking through her own bag.
"Aren't you gonna answer?" The girl asked, clearly ticked off but not trying to do anything else… yet.
Clara looks up, “Look, I don’t ave to tell you anything. Now calm down before I knock you out again.” She looks back to her bag.
Lavi only huffed and rolled her eyes, "What happens now?"
Clara hums, “You shut up and I do my thing.”
Clara looks at her, “Shut up.”
"Make me."Lavi muttered under her breath. "Very well then." She crossed her arms, "Aren't I supposed to be tied?"
