“Well that wasn’t a terrible way to start the day.” She commented as the teacher released them. The school didn’t have bells because ya know…kiddos with super hearing.

"Horrible. Now I'm hungry." She complained, leaning dramatically into L as they headed into the hall.

L passed the guy from earlier and he actually growled at her. L literally bared her teeth right back at him and shoved past him, hitting him with her shoulder. He chuckled but let her pass.

Rook flipped the guy off over her shoulder and grabbed L's hand. "Can I kill him?"

“Yes, I’d greatly appreciate it.” She growled in response, grinding her teeth together in anger. “That dick!”

"If he so much as looks at you again I'll rip his dick off." She said matter of factly.

“Thanks…I fucking hate that alpha…”

"Oh, he's an alpha, huh?"

“Yeah at least of my generation. It’s his ‘birthright’ until someone takes it from him at least. I plan to be that person.”

Rook gasped, pinching L's cheek and grinning. "Aaawww, my little baby's all grown up! I'm so proud!" She exclaimed, blinking away actual tears.

She rolled her eyes “you’re embarrassing you know that right?” She responded jokingly.

"I know something that would embarrass you even more~" She said suggestively.

L blushed “I hate you….”

Rook reached up and clasped her hands behind L's neck, standing on her toes and leaning close. "Really?"

She blushed even more. “C-come on Rookie, what the fuck”

She smirked, and leaned even further to whisper in her ear. "I win." And then she was laughing, weaving through students in the halls, speed walking.

“What the fuck, Rook!” She yelled after her, equally speed walking because apparently teachers care more about running than cursing.

Rook was blocked by a cluster of chatting students that she frantically tried to find a way through, still giggling.

L had almost caught up with her. “There’s no escape, Rookie!”

"You'll never catch me alive or dead!" She shouted, attempting to squeeze through a small gap.

“Ah ah ah!” She lunged and grabbed her arm. “Gotcha!”

Rook squealed in laughter, halfheartedly trying to pull pull away.

"Nope! You're mine now!" she exclaimed, wrapping her arms around her so she really couldn't escape.
