Yesim shook her head. "No, not rea-" Her stomach interrupted her and growled loudly, making her face turn red in embarrassment.
Yesim shook her head. "No, not rea-" Her stomach interrupted her and growled loudly, making her face turn red in embarrassment.
Ajax smirked. "Come on then." He walked to the kitchen. He opened the pantry. "What kind of sandwich do you like."
"I-I'm fine with anything," Yesim answered shyly, her face still a bright red.
Ajax made them both a simple peanut butter and jelly sandwich. He set hers down in front of her and took a bite.
Yesim took hers and took a bite, quietly staring at the ground. She was planning on quickly doing her homework and getting it over with, not wanting to stay up late now that Richard wasn't here.
Ajax sat down at the table and are his sandwich quietly. He washed the plate and set it in the dishwasher. "You'll be sleeping in my room and I'll be taking the couch."
"No, it's fine, I'll sleep on the couch." Yesim replied quickly after she finished eating her sandwich.
"No, you can take the couch. I really don't mind." He also didn't want to wake her up with his coming and goings.
"Are you sure?" Yesim asked, not sure if Ajax was trying to cover something she didn't know about or something else.
"I'm sure. It'll be more comfortable for you there. You're my guest Jade." Ajax said. "Come with me." He led her to his bedroom. He grabbed a shirt and shorts out of his drawer and handed it to her. "The bathroom is the second door on the left."
Yesim thanked Ajax before taking the clothes and following his directions to the bathroom. She came out the bathroom after a few minutes and looked at Ajax, not sure what to do, the clothes were obviously way to big for her and the sleeve slipped off one of her shoulders and the shorts reached her knees. "Um-your clothes are a bit too big on meβ¦"
Ajax turned to her and almost laughed. It was very hard to contain his amusement. "Would you like to try something of my mom's? Might fit you better." He offered her.
"No, it's fine. I'll just try to roll up the sleeves and stuff." Yesim quicky replies, trying to roll up the sleeves.
Ajax nodded. "Alright. There's clean sheets on the bed. Make yourself at home."
"I'll do that later, I have some homework I need to work on." Yesim replied, going over to where she had left her backpack.
Ajax nodded and went to the living room. He sat down and turned on the tv, flipping through channels until he found one that he liked.
Yesim sat down in a chair and quickly started doing her homework, letting her hair fall into her face. This isn't that hard.
It didn't take long before Ajax was snoring softly on the couch. He didn't sleep often so he took advantage of the times he could.
Yesim quickly finished her homework and got up to go to her evening shift at the cafe, noticing that Ajax was asleep. She went over to where he had said her room was at and got a blanket, going back to the couch and using it to cover Ajax's body. She sighed as she turned off the TV and headed outside towards the cafe.
(Cough)
(Yikes sorry)
Ajax woke with a start. His neck and back hurt from sleeping on the couch. He sat up and pushed off the couch. He ran his hand through his hair and checked his phone. He was expected to be back in the ring tomorrow night. He sighed. He walked to the kitchen and grabbed something small to eat before crashing back onto the couch.
(It's fine)
Yesim ignored the man who had been staring at her from a table in the corner, making her uncomfortable and making her want to leave early. Was there a bruise on her face that she somehow hadn't noticed? She sighed as she smiled at a girl who came up to the counter to order. But the woman looked like she wasn't coming up to order.
"Hey, so, I see this guy who keeps looking at you, do you know him?" The woman asked, glancing at the man then at Yesim.
"Not really, can you describe what he looks like? I can't really see his face from here." Yesim replied quietly, not wanting the man to hear.
"Oh, sure, bleach blonde hair, grey eyes, light stubble, and pale skin."
"Thanks," Was all Yesim said, not trusting herself to speak anymore. This woman had just described Richard, how did he know she worked at this cafe? She glanced at the clock and sighed in relief, 5 more minutes and she could leave.
Ajax stood up. "Hey, Jade?!" He yelled. When he received no answer, he got up and walked to his room, surprised to see that she wasn't there. He pulled out his phone. 'Hey, where are you?' He texted her.
Yesim instantly retreated to the Employee's only room when it had been 5 minutes, glancing at her phone to check the time but saw Ajax's message. 'Help. Richard found me.'
Ajax looked at his phone as it dinged. He opened the message. 'Where are you?' He responded. He grabbed his keys and walked out of the house after locking the door. He climbed into his car.
