(Lol that's me everyday)

"Since we read Star-Crossed Lovers by Kay Hooper, which is obviously a romance, we can do a skit?" Yesim asked. Her phone buzzed again and she glanced at it. Mikhail: Sure! How do you want to die? Yesim smiled slightly and replied with. The Unforgivable Curse which rebounded on He-Who-Must-Not-Be-Named. It's fast and easy. She put her phone away and glanced at Ajax.

@ElderGod-yellowqueen

Ajax groaned and rolled his eyes. "Of course you would say that. You and every other love sick girl in this room will be choosing that book. It's for virgin girls to dream of their perfect man, and then turn around and be disappointed when they join reality." He looked up from his phone. "Its a cliche romeo and juliet book. Like I haven't read enough of those. Choose a different book, one that's not so….heartfelt." He was beginning to debate who he wanted to kill more, Yesim or Mrs. Baker, he hadn't quite figured it out yet.

(Srry about that!)

"Well, Mr. Annoying, I'm not the one who picked what book we were supposed to read. If you hate the book then you an go complain to Mrs. Baker," Yesim retorted, glaring at Ajax. Her phone buzzed and she glanced it, quickly muting it before reading the message. Mikhail: Sure, what time and where do you want me to do it? Also, can I borrow your wand? I don't have one but I'm planning on getting one soon. Yesim quickly typed a response. Sure, but what if my wand isn't meant for you and the curse rebounds on you and you die? Also, kill me after I kill Ajax.

@ElderGod-yellowqueen

"We've read other books this semester, choose a different one that isn't so invested in romance. Even Pride and Prejudice would be a better book than the one you chose. I'm tired of the constant 'We aren't supposed to be together so let's do it in secret.' Then the family finds out and blah blah blah, they end up together in the end, happy ever after. Has anyone told you that that sounds like a toxic relationship because it does? Or is that what you want, to read about toxic relationships and then find yourself in one?" Ajax was glaring at her. "So, pick another book."

"Oh, so you care about what book we're going to do now? Just because it's a romance and you feel lonely and sad when you read it? Even though girls are throwing themselves at you and would do anything for you to look at them," Yesim spat out, still glaring at him. "You didn't care before and if you really do care now, then what book should we do?"

@ElderGod-yellowqueen

Ajax leaned forward, leveling his eyes with hers. "Stop playing me out as a monster sweetheart. I only sleep with the girls that understand that it's just a one-night thing. They understand I understand. The others just want to use me, to claim that they "got the bad boy" or whatever else you girls say. I'm sorry that I don't put up with your bullshit. Now if you're done judging me without even knowing me, I would like to get back to our project. I'm not failing because you couldn't get past the rumors you've heard of me." He leaned back in his seat, picked up his phone, and started scrolling through it once more. "Fahrenheit 451. It centers on what censoring does to society and the consequences that it brings. We could do a presentation on censoring creates a mindless society that is easy to manipulate and control, using the book's examples as well as real-life circumstances."

Yesim flinched when Ajax cursed but quickly regained herself, trying to ignore all the memories that had popped up because of that. "Well then you can you shouldn't have assumed stuff about me either. I'm not some lovesick virgin girl who is always dreaming about some 'perfect' man. I have stuff to do other than that." She retorted, also leaning forward while still glaring at him.

@ElderGod-yellowqueen

Ajax scoffed. "Whatever helps you sleep at night sweetheart. And that 'other stuff' is what's going to keep you alone and a virgin forever. But if that's what you want, go for it I guess." When the bell rang, signaling class was over, he pulled out a piece of paper and wrote on it. "So, Farenheit 451 it is. Text me what you want me to do." He slid the paper with his number on it to her, grabbed his things, then left class.

(Srry about that! I wasn't able to get on my laptop yesterday)

Yesim was about to retort until the bell rung and she sighed, grabbing the piece of paper and shoving it into her pocket before getting her stuff and heading to her locker. At least that's what she had been planning to do until a guy shoved her to the ground. "If it isn't the teacher's pet." He said, grabbing her collar and shoving her into the locker. Yesim struggled around helplessly, she knew she wasn't strong and she didn't know why she was struggling around.

@ElderGod-yellowqueen

(That's fine!)

Ajax opened his locker and grabbed his things for his next class, biology. He wanted so much to go home and go back to sleep. He looked into the small mirror in his locker and noticed that his eye was starting to blacken. he sighed and hoped no teacher commented or reported it, though knowing them, they probably would. That meant they would call his mother and he really did not want to get her involved. He looked down the hall as he heard a commotion. He rolled his eyes when he realized it was Yesmin. He sighed, realizing he would have to intervene. He hated intervening. He just wanted to keep to himself. He yanked the douche away by his collar. "Back the fuck off asshole and go to class, unless you'd like me to report you for harassment. That would surely get you kicked off the team would it not?"

Yesim was a bit confused when she didn't feel a punch to her face and opened one eye to see Ajax talking to the guy that had been hitting her. "Who do you think you are, thinking you can report my ass?" The man asked, glaring daggers at Ajax. Yesim slowly slid away from the scene and headed to her locker.

@ElderGod-yellowqueen

Ajax scoffed. "Think? I know I can report your ass. You really don't want to mess me. So how about you run along to your next class and leave Yesmin or whatever her name is alone. If you don't, I'll make sure you regret it." He turned on his heel and caught up to his English partner. "You should watch yourself. You have no idea what they're capable of. And while I think you're an annoying pain in my ass, I don't want to see you on the news because you got caught up with the wrong people."

Deleted user

Yesim yelped in surprise when she heard Ajax's voice and turned around to face him. "I've already been on the news and I can get myself out of those situations. I'm not some damsel in distress, you know." She replied. Why does he even care about me? I don't get this. He's not even my friend.

@ElderGod-yellowqueen

Ajax snorted. He stopped in front of her and crossed his arms. "Oh yeah? That's not what it looked like back there. It looked like you were backed into a corner ready to be eaten by wolves." He scoffed and ran his hand through his hair and down his face. He winced as his hand came in contact with his sore eye. "You know what? Whatever, you can't even say thank you for me saving your ass back there. So much for being chivalrous. Don't expect me to help your ungrateful ass again."

Deleted user

Yesim stopped walking and glared at Ajax. "First of all, you better take care of that black eye. Second, Leave. Me. Alone. Do you not know what that means? Because if you don't, I will gladly teach you what it means." She replied, normally she would have been worried if someone in school had gotten injured but she couldn't care less right now. "Also, I don't need to thank someone like you and don't except me to save you anytime soon if you get in trouble. I don't expect you to save me anytime soon either."

@ElderGod-yellowqueen

Ajax slammed his hand on the lockers. "Fuck you. Here I am trying to be a somewhat decent human being by helping you out a mlm d you can't even say thanks? What the hell is wrong with you? Its it that hard to say 'thank you ajax' and then we get. To move on with our lives and only speak to each other when we have too. Is it really so hard for you to be a decent human being? It's not like I'm telling you to thank me by sucking my dick." He gripped his hair in frustration. Women were so complicated. He wanted to punch something. But his knuckles were already busted enough. "What the hell do you expect me to do about my black eye anyways. If I miss my more days I won't graduate and there's no way in hell I'm staying in this shithole any longer than I have to be. So unless you're going to play doctor, I'll see you in two periods in math."

Yesim flinched again when Ajax slammed the lockers, trying her best not to curse at him. "If you really are that desperate for recognition, then go ask one of the girls who's glaring daggers at me." She replied, signalling towards a girl who was indeed glaring heavily at Yesim. "Also, thanks very much for the scarring image. I'm going to leave now."

@ElderGod-yellowqueen

Ajax scoffed. "I couldn't give a shit about those other girls. They either want to fuck me and leave, or they want to fuck me and change me. And while an occasional hook up is fine and all, I don't want to be taking home a girl every other night." He scoffed and shook his head. "I don't even know why I'm defending myself against you, you're not worth it. All I wanted to was help. It's not a ploy to get into your pants, I'll never want that with you. I just wanted to help." He turned on his heal and headed to class.

Yesim chuckled. "Thanks, everyone says I'm not worth it. Also, please make sure it looks like you're not trying to get in my pants since I don't need those girls beating me or their bodyguards." She muttered, turning around and heading towards her locker.

@ElderGod-yellowqueen

The rest of the day went by fairly smoothly, though the bruising around his eye got worse. When the last bell rang, he got his things from his locker then on a last-minute decision, headed towards his English partner's locker. he leaned against the locker next to hers and put his hands in his jacket's pocket.

Yesim's group had gotten in trouble and she had to stay after class. The teacher quickly said a few words to everyone and said made Yesim stay after the group left to tell her something. "Yes, professor?" She asked, looking a bit confused as she sat down in a chair in front of her teacher.
"You've been looking very stressed lately, can I help with anything?" He asked, looking at her worriedly.
"Oh-um-I'm fine professor, why did you think that?"
"Well, you've kind of started developing eye bags and your posture has gotten worse, you don't look like you pay attention in class and always look annoyed."
"It's nothing you need to worry about. Can I leave now?"
"Yep." He nodded and smiled kindly at her.
Yesim smiled back before getting up and bolting out of the door.
