Elena smiled. She followed Vasilios to a red and white tent, and Lios held the tent flap open for her. She ducked inside, and wandered into a place that looked something like the stage Lios performed on during the circus show. Vasilios lead her to a seat, and she gratefully let her tired feet rest. Lios walked over and pressed something on a stand, and the lights that shown from various points of the ceiling dimmed simultaneously. Elena gasped as the stage lit up like a firework display.
"Wow." She whispered to herself in awe.
He smiled softly, eyes glowing slightly in the darkness before the stage lights filled the room. Lios sat beside her and watching as the curtain rose to reveal a still scene of a poor family sitting around a table with little food. The narration began with a females voice telling the audience to sit back and relax as the show started.
"Ladies and gentleman, our most esteemed guests. Today I present to you the history of The Circus of Dreams. We begin our little journey with The Brailles family.
Elena quieted, settling in her seat to watch the show. The lighting changed once more, and the dark red curtains pulled aside. A small family was sitting in a circle around their table, with some food. Elena grimaced. It seemed as if the foodstuffs for the whole family could have fit in the palms of her hand. A feminine voice spoke in the background, soothingly telling everyone to stay in their seats and relax.
(I don't really know if this was something you were going for, so if it doesn't seem right here, just pretend the stuff down here didn't happen)
Elena wondered why this wasn't being shown anymore. Every time she visited, only the main show was presented. This place had many seats, possibly the same amount as the main tent. So why did they stop? She brushed the thought away.
The storied carried on until it got to the place where Jerome Valdeuc went to his first circus at age 21. The whole entire stage stated to rotate clockwise until another curtain popped up, showing another scene. This one depicted a slightly older Jerome, interning as a ringleader to an older looking man. "that's my great, great, great, uncle." Liols whispered close to elena's ear, pointing up to the anamotronic on stage with a gloved hand "Of course the real one, not the mechanical version
