Elena looked curiously at the card left on the seat he sat in. For a moment, she thought to return the card, but then realized it was for her and hastily snatched it. The card itself was quite a masterpiece, but the exquisite calligraphy written in gold ink caught her attention.
She scanned the words on the beautiful card, and nodded. She remembered seeing something that looked like a fountain while walking into the place. After a short moment of consideration, she decided she would indeed go to the fountain. He seemed like a nice man. She inferred, stuffing the card into the pocket of her pleated pants.
(So she's basically wear a simple ruffle sleeve white blouse, polished black flats with a round point, and a very light pink elastic pleated pant thing that looks very loose on her XD
As innocent as one can get lmao )

@Festive_Fenrir

(just have to say this now, I freaking love the detail you put into your responses, I need to learn from rp people like you)
Vasilios stood by marble fountain, tracing the gray veins in the stone while flipping a tarot card in another. Wearing a white button down shirt, slightly see through because of the moonloght and black pants. He looked like a dark angel in the night. He smiled to himself and flicked his hand, revealing a white rose.
pretty thing

@Yoaisami

(aaa, thank you so much! I try my best ><
Btw, so the man was Vasilios?? But wasn't he on the stage, doing the show?)
After the enticing show, Elena skipped out of the tent exit. She glanced around her, looking for the fountain mentioned in the card. Just a few yards away was a marble fountain, literally shining against the moonlight that reflected off of it. She spotted a figure standing beside it. Elena walked toward it, her curiousity peaking.
Vasilios? She whispered.
He was radiant. The immaculate fountain looked shabby next to the Circus Prince.

@Festive_Fenrir

(yeah, vasilios left to go backstage, changed and then came out to meet Elena. The man she met with and vasilios are the same, sorry for not clearing that up.)
He glanced up as he heard his name wispered. He straightened from his position on the fountain, rolling his shoulders slightly as if he were ruffling his non existent wings.
"I see you found my card, not many are to keen as to have noticed it." He gave a theatric bow. "You continue to mistify me my dear, with your cleverness." He spoke gently, as if to a lost puppy. He smiled and gestured for her to join him "don't worry, I don't bite…much." he winked and leaned over the lip of the marble fountain, tracing a delicate finger in the clear water below

@Yoaisami

Elena grinned in recognition. She walked faster, almost jogging toward him with an eager expression.
"Ah, really? I thought it was quite easy to find." She said, surprised. But then she remembered how the seat was a strikingly similiar color to the card. Almost so similiar that someone could mistaken it as part of the seat. She patted herself on the back in her mind for finding the card.
Vasilios gestured for her to join him, and she did so with little hesitation. Carefully, she lifted herself onto the lip of the fountain. She then fixed her loose pants so it flowed naturally down to her feet.

@Festive_Fenrir

He glanced up at her through dark lashes and smiled "careful, I've known many to fall back into the water." He stood and turned to her, offering a hand to help her down "come, walk with me." He gestured to the path leading around the Circus grounds. "things are much different at night than in the day. More mysterious, more beautiful, more enticing." Moonlight cut across his face, illuminating the shadows around his cheek area and bringing out his dark eyes

@Yoaisami

"Hm?" Elena had thought that this would only be a small conversation with no need for further movement. She accepted his hand and hopped down, feeling a bit embarrassed. Usually, Elena would go to this Circus only for the shows Vasilios held. She never really explored the grounds much, so this would be quiet the experience.
Elena nodded along to his comment. The night was truly a unique time, but unlike normal people, she was still scared of the dark. She never really let go of those irrational fears of a young one, flinching away from needles and hiding under the covers of her bed when lightning storms hit too close to home.
Unconciously, she inched closer to him. He was comforting in a weird way. Elena felt safe and protected around him, but not in a motherly fashion…
She tucked a strand of hair behind her left ear.

@Festive_Fenrir

He noted the movement from Elena "not a fan of the dark I see," he said with a slight grin "don't worry, nothing here is going to hurt you, that's not to say they aren't dangerous." He flicked his hand, a gold and black dagger with rubies encrusted in it's hilt appearing in his hand. "A dagger can disguise itself as a rose," he flicked his hand again, the dagger was replaced by a blood red rose, it's petals tipped with white. "Or a a devil as an angel, neither mean they can't kill or sin." His gaze was focused on the path in front of them, though occasionally it would wander to Elena. Vasilios caught himself multiple times doing so and silently chatisied himself.
What was it with this girl that made him feel so weak, willing to do anything for her? Willing to share everything he had with her

@Yoaisami

Elena yelped uncharacteristically when a blade appeared from thin air into Vasilios's palms. It gave off a gothic vintage feel, dark red rubies shimmering dangerously on its hilt. One second it was there, the next it was gone, replaced with a crimson red rose. It's petals were tipped with a pure white.
She bit her lip, gazing at the wooded area around them.
"Where are we going?" She whispered. The moonlight peeked out from under the large trees that twisted all around them. She shivered, a slight chill seeping through the thin material of her blouse.

@Festive_Fenrir

The Rose disappeared from his hand and he glanced down at Elena "how ignorant of me, you're cold." he stopped mid-walk and waved his hands around himself as if he were pulling on a coat. In one swift movement, he pulled a dark cloak out of thin air, in the same movement he wrapped it around her shoulders. "Better?" he asked, sounding genuinely concerned. "We're heading to a less visited part of the circus. One I call home. Along with my closest friends and family." he explained as the little light around them grew to a dark blue

@Yoaisami

(I'm back! :D)
"Thank you." The warmth of the cloak slowly spread to her body, and she nodded happily in response. Elena followed closely next to him, keeping pace with his long graceful strides.
"Does that mean I get introduced to them personally?" Elena wondered, excited. She hugged the cloak closer to her body.

@Festive_Fenrir

Vasilios nodded and led her to a small, midnight blue tent as if a piece of the night sky were turned to cloth. "You'll meet a few, some are resting from performing or don't like outsider company," he explained with an apologetic smile. "Stubborn lot," he shook his head and sat down at one of the many pillows on the ground, gesturing her to sit next to him. Around them, the tent was covered in fabrics of many textures and colors. Light from laps above bathed the room in a fluorescent rainbow effect, turning Vasilios and Elena foreign skin tones.

@Yoaisami

Elena wondered briefly why Vasilios seemed so patient with her, waiting for her to finish fawning over the masterpiece that was the tent. (This is a traveling circus? Or does it just open sparingly~)
"I'm fine with that!" Elena said, plopping down on a frilly red pillow next to her feet. She turned back to Vasilios. Her eyes widened at his multicolored skin, and looked up at the pieces of colored fabric stitched together. Lifting her hand to examine the color above her, she laughed at the greenish-blue hue it took on.

"You thought it was magic?" He asked, again finding himself enchanted by her interest in his world "we have uses for the mundane, just not normal uses." He flicked his hand, a set of Tarot cards appearing. These were white with gold and matte black suit.bols and swirls. Pictures on the front depicted Tarot symbolisms and pictures while the back had the same filagree pattern. "Want me to read you while we wait for our guests?"

@Yoaisami

"Well, it sure looks pretty magical!" Elena said, watching the colors reflect off of her bare skin. Vasilios turned to her, flicking his wrist. A set of shimmery Tarot cards appeared, the gold seeming to scintillate in the warm hues of the tent. She had seen something similiar to these on stage, but seeing them up close was another thing entirely. Each Tarot card was it's own work of art.
"Want me to read you while we wait for our guests?" Vasilios looked at her. Elena nodded playfully.
"I've never done something like that before. I'd like to try it!" She replied, nodding at the cards.

@Festive_Fenrir

He grinned and set his hat down on the ground next to him. He expertly shuffled the cards with a fluid movement of his hand and cut the deck in half "choose one deck." He said softly, using the same voice he had when they had first met

@Festive_Fenrir

He took the cards in one hand and pulled the other aside. Shuffling once more, he set four cards face down in a diamond shape, placing the rest around the four. "Choose any three." He instructed

@Yoaisami

The girl watched as Vasilios shuffled the cards and laid them out on the floor in front of her.
"Choose any three." He said with his gentle voice. Elena swallowed, leaning on the red velvet pillow for support.
She carefully touched three cards with the tip of her index finger. Her brown hair slinked around her shoulders, tickling her collarbone.
"These." She smiled at him.

@Festive_Fenrir

He took all the other cards away, Carfull not to mess with the position of the three Elena had chosen, he set them in a row in front of them. Glancing up at her through dark lashes and a veil of hidden desires, he turned the first card over, hand gliding over the card in a caress as it revealed itself to be an upright Lover's card. A slight smile appeared on Vasilio's expression. "The Lovers, they represent Harmony and balance in a relationship. The promise of fulfilment and happiness. You have or will have a strong romantic relationship with your partner, loving them to the fullest, in return, they will do the same." He recited softly, not understanding why this specific reading was causing his heart to throb, was he nervous? Why? He was Ringnaster of the circus, there was no need for him to be nervous. He looked up at Elena. It was her, her that made his heart throb, not with nervousness, but with want, desire, to be the other person in the relationship that the card depicted. The one to return her love with his own.

@Yoaisami

(Should I mention that she needs to go home later? Or does that not matter; She lives alone either way so,..)
Elena took in Vasilios's features while he arranged the cards. Now that she was so close to him, she could see his features clearly. She wanted to touch his smooth, pale skin and trace his jawbone down to his chin. Elena cocked her head. What was she thinking? Her doe eyes widened when he glanced up at her through his lashes. Her heartbeat quickened. Vasilios flipped a card over.
"The Lover's card?" She murmured in surprise. …The promise of fulfillment and happiness.
"That… Sounds really nice." She smiled, folding her hands under her chin. Her eyes drifted off into the distance, her mind thinking of the past.
