She laughed a little bit as well before climbing on the saddle " I suppose I've just never heard anyone great him like that before is all. "
She laughed a little bit as well before climbing on the saddle " I suppose I've just never heard anyone great him like that before is all. "
“Ahhh, really?” Dove stepped aside so Princess Alice could move forward. “I think he deserves such a greeting.”
She didn’t know how they were having a conversation like this, her and the princess. She hoped Her Highness enjoyed it as much as she was.
She smiled a little at dove as she moved over "maybe I could take you on a ride sometime would you like that? " alice didn't exactly want to leave she was enjoying the company dove was giving her
Dove began guiding the horse over to the gated entrance to the manor. She gasped, a blush rising in her cheeks. “Your Highness! I would, yes, but I could never accept such a thing, not from you. Why would you offer that to someone like me?”
As dove guided the horse Alice looked down at her with a smile on her face "well if you want to why wouldn't you come with me, what do you mean someone like you?" Alice was generally confused about her comment she just stared at her
She had to look away for a moment. “It would be… such a great privilege and honor. But I am just a servant. I am not important enough, nor am I close enough with you. Wouldn’t it be rather selfish to go with you on your horse?”
Alice just smiled at her before chuckling a little "dove, it's a horseback ride it doesn't matter who you are you can go for a ride I assure you."
Ah, why was she blushing so much? Dove blinked, almost having a mini heart attack when she heard the princess call her by her name. “You’re— you’re too kind, princess. I suppose I can only accept, then.” She went up to the gate and opened it for Alice.
"I'd be very grateful if you accepted my offer darling. She let dove guide her and Cyrus to the front gate as she smiled warmly at her
Dove’s face was the color of cherries now, and her heart pounded like a drum. “Then of course I accept!” she said, “Though I’m afraid it cannot be today. But someday, I think I would like it very much.” She returned the smile as best she could.
"What day would you be free dear?" Alice spoke softly and sweetly to the girl admiring her smile as they reached the gate
Dove just could not register the fact that the princess was calling her ‘darling’ and ‘dear’ like she had known her for years. “Um… uh…” she had lost her words for a moment. She could not think. “Maybe… uh, this weekend?” She managed to say. “The duchess and young masters should be out of the house then…”
"Hm them I shall come here this weekend to fetch you I do hope I'm not making you uncomfortable though… your face is quite red" she said this with a slight smile as she reached behind Cyrus's ear
“Um, sure!” She laughed nervously, waving her off. “No, no, it’s alright. I should… I should like to get to know you better, Your Highness.”

(Awww your right 🥰)
"Ah well just be sure you were something you can ride in like a tunic dresses are difficult.."
Dove nodded. “Yes. I think I have something like that on hand…”
She was already thinking into the future, planning ahead. She would have to get enough chores done so that nobody would question anything. Hopefully the princess would come sometime later in the afternoon, so her stepfamily would already be gone…
"Great I wouldn't want you to snag anything important, is there a certain time you'd like me to come?"
“Oh, perhaps in the afternoon? That way no one will be home and I won’t be missed,” she suggested, tucking a strand of hair behind her ear.
"Alright then I'll be here in the afternoon of pick you up dear." She gave bet another smile as Cyrus began to walk through the gate
She smiled back and waved goodbye. “I shall see you then, Your Highness.” Then Dove turned and walked back to the house’s back door, so she would’ve unseen.
Alice waved back before she headed back into town to her poor guard she left in the market hoping he hadn't gone back to the palace
(Shall we skip?)
(We shall)
When the weekend came, andrew (Our Supreme Lord and Overseer) and Michael were still angry. It seemed they had been angry ever since Princess Alice left their manor, and Dove had to suffer the consequences. She sat in her room, which was really just the small, dingy attic, trying to treat the bruises and sores her stepbrothers gave her. She sniffled, trying not to cry. Hopefully she could just hide here until her stepfamily left.
