"What else would you like to talk about?" Lloyd asked.
"What else would you like to talk about?" Lloyd asked.
He shrugged. "Oh, uhm, I odn't know."
"Well, I'm not too good at carrying conversation."
"Neither am I, honestly." he replied with another shrug, smiling slightly.
Lloyd smiled softly as well and looked down at the floor. "Um… what's your… favorite color?"
"Blue." he replied with a faint smile. "And yours?"
"Probably the same, or maybe green… I dunno." Lloyd flushed a bit in embarrassment, feeling painfully awkward.
He nodded a little bit, wishing he could roll onto his side. "Yeah."
"I… um… do you like dogs?" Lloyd asked awkwardly.
"Yeah. You do, right?"
Lloyd nodded. "I know there's a couple of them hanging around here…"
He smiled. "Cool! I have…had a dog. I had to leave him at the Tremaine's."
"You can go get him if you'd like. You're allowed to have him here."
He shrugged slightly. "I'd love to, but…" But Lord Aaron might already have gotten rid of him.
"But what? He can live with the royal dogs. It's no problem."
"Lord Aaron might have gotten rid of him already." he replied slowly.
"Ah… well, we can send someone to go check, if you'd like."
He nodded a little bit. "If it isn't too much trouble."
"Of course not. I'll be right back." Lloyd got up and limped out of the room. He called over a servant, had a quick conversation with him, and headed back into the infirmary.
Ellis waited for Lloyd to come back, letting out a quiet breath.
Lloyd sat back down with a soft sigh of relief. "We're going to send out a couple men for the dog, or to find his whereabouts if Lord Tremaine got rid of him."
Ellis nodded a little bit. "Thank you, Lloyd."
"No problem. We want everyone to be comfortable here." He smiled softly.
He smiled a little bit in return.
"I don't believe you've met the royal dogs. Would you like to once you've healed some?"
