Jayson sits at the cafe, restless as heck, a lot of thoughts going through his mind. His leg bounced as he looked around anxiously, every second taking a glance at the clock on the wall. "It's alright dude, you're cool, h-he'll be here" He assures himself but a tiny voice in the back of his head says otherwise. Are you sure?

(ah sorry! I fell asleep on the couch but I'm awake and back now!)

Darius heaved a sigh of relief as his coworker finally arrived for her shift, quickly passing her the apron that fit them both and nearly speed-walking out the door, not answering when she yelled after him if he had a hot date waiting for him. As soon as he was out the door, he began to mutter to himself. "Right, okay. Cafe. Searching for a cafe… Cafe. Cafe. Is this the cafe?" He slowly pushed the door open and entered the cafe, looking around at the people inside, searching for the familiar face from earlier. "Let's hope he's here…"

(Jayson cries in his chibi form "I knew he wouldnt come…" jk lmao it's all good don't stress about it, it's good to get rest)
Jayson casually stirred the coffee he had ordered in an attempt to calm himself with the warmness of the cup, he tilted his head to the side a bit as if he were tired or bored. "Ah crud my head is killing me, this can't be happening right now…" The room seemed to spin a bit but he shook it off and looked up when he saw someone walk into the cafe There he is! his heart skipped a bit as he flushed red, noting his own excitement.

(lmao no oh my goodness I would start crying and attempt to comfort with hugs and chocolate)

Darius perked up, a large smile crossing his face as he finally spotted Jayson. He waved and made his way over to Jayson's table and plopped himself down across from the cute guy. "Hello again! It's nice to see you, Jayson. I didn't think I had the right cafe at first… thankfully I was wrong." He attempted to joke with Jay.

(Lmaoo, Jayson would definitely love chocolates and hugs, he likes anything that's sweet lol)
Jayson smiles back and waves awkwardly, then freezes up when he sits down. "H-hi" he answers, then laughs a bit when he said he was glad to have gotten the right place. "Yeah, sorry I didn't specify I-I'm kind of shy so I got a bit paranoid and wanted out before I embarrassed myself" he smiles a bit nervously, not knowing if that was the right thing to say. He looks down at his half finished coffee then back up at him again. "Umm…So what would you like? To drink I mean"

"Hey, it's okay man. That's totally understandable! Thank you for telling me," Darius quickly tried to calm the guy. He attempted a bright, reassuring smile. "To drink? I don't really know… I haven't really explored much. Do you have any recommendations for me to try?"

Jayson thought about this, recommendations? He had a lot on his mind since he'd been here a couple of times. "Well…" He started out slowly, gathering his thoughts. "I usually take the mocha frappe or Iced coffee…but!" He said really excitedly as he looked up at the menu they had hanging over the cash register. "They have these two new ones that I really wanna try! Also, they're limited edition so I have to them! They're the cherry blossom frappe and strawberry milk coffee" He froze as he was about to say something else, he literally got way too excited when it came to coffee. "But umm..you can uh order what you like, they're all good" He smiled at Darius shyly, feeling like he had said too much.

Darius rested his head on his hand, smiling kindly at Jayson as the man went off on a coffee tangent. "I think all of those sound really good. If you want, I can order one of the new ones and you can order the other, and I'll let you have a sip." Darius proposed a compromise, one that would hopefully make both parties happy. "Sound good?"

Jayson nodded but then flinched. "Wait, but I'll be buying the drinks, I invited after all, so umm which would you like?" He asked, fidgeting with his sleeve for a bit. He was thinking of getting the Cherry Blossom frappe.

"What was that last one you listed? Strawberry Milk Coffee? That sounds rather pleasant to have," Darius suggested lightly as he shifted in his seat to be a bit more comfortable.

Jayson nodded. "Yea alright cool" He said as he walked up to the register, but hesitated when he went up to the guy. "U-um can I have a Strawberry Milk Coffee and a Cherry Blossom frappe?" He asked in a really quiet voice. The guy stared blankly at him for a few seconds. "So a Strawberry Milk coffee and…?" Jayson cleared his throat. "A-a Cherry Blossom frappe?… You sell those here right?…" The guy nodded slowly like 'wtf' and put his order in. After he paid Jayson was about to sit down but the guy wasn't done. "Name?" The guys said and Jayson turned around, the most frightened look on his face, he thought the conversation had been over but apparently not. "J-Jay-ce…" He said, the nervousness showing through, then he slowly went back to sit in his seat and put his head down in embarrassment. He tended to blush a lot when he felt like he messed up.

"Hey, it's okay man. He's just doing his job. You did great," Darius attempted to comfort Jayson, his voice gentle and warm with encouragement. He reached forward to pat Jayson's head in a calming motion, trying to make Jayce feel better about that incident. "Wanna talk about stuff to get your mind off of being embarrassed?"

Jayson stiffened when Darius patted his head, he quickly sat up, red-faced. "U-um yea thanks, I would um love that" He wrapped his hands around his coffee cup and clenched it a bit, a sort of tired look on his face as he looks down at it. "Sorry, I just- I try not to be a bother and try to handle things the best I can but I just" He shrugs uncomfortably. "Seem to always be off and just make a disaster out of things…though I probably did just fine like you said…" He sort of mumbles at the end with an uncertain forced half smile on his face.

"Hey, it's perfectly fine. Just take a deep breath and we can move on from it. You didn't make a disaster out of it at all. I even bet that the employee won't even remember that event by the end of the day when all is said and done," Darius tried to comfort and calm the poor guy's anxiety. He pulled back his arm but still left his hands up and open on the table. "Now, why don't you tell me a bit about yourself, Jay. What do you do for a living? Have any pets?" Darius tried to change the subject to lighter things.

Jayson's cheeks flushed. Did this guy actually care about him? He looks up at Darius shyly. "Y-yea, you're right, it's probably just me" He smiled as he shook his head to snap out of it. Jayson froze at his question. "I uh, I work in an office, a guy I met was nice enough to give me the job and umm I'm not sure how you're gonna react to this but I have a red panda at home….it was a gift from someone" He smiled warmly just thinking about the person. "Oh but um how about you? Got any pets? Are you single?" He threw in the joke at the end at the last moment, feeling a bit more open to the guy.

"Really?! A red panda?! Dude that's so cool! I bet that person must be really awesome to give you a red panda as a gift," Darius let himself react to Jayson's answer before registering the questions. "I have two cats and a dog at my place, pretty normal rescue animals I took in…" He felt his face grow slightly flushed, "…and I am currently very single…"

Jayson smiled warmly at Darius' excitement and nodded when he told him about his three pets. "I've always wanted a cat but well I can't with the current pet I have, I wouldn't want him to get hurt in any way…" Jayson actually turned a bit red when Darius gave him an honest answer to his last question. "O-oh w-well that's uhh nice…." Jayson began to feel flustered again. "N-not in a bad way though! T-that just means that you have yet to meet that special someone that you find attractive and wanna go out with" He smiled at Darius while simultaneously tilting his head to the side slightly.
