"Cool" he said, "Hey you got any questions for me? I mean, it's only fair."
"Cool" he said, "Hey you got any questions for me? I mean, it's only fair."
"What you're doing here and how you seem to know where you're going," Raphael said almost immediately.
"No reason to be here or anywhere else, I'm a wanderer," he said, answering the first, "To the second, I have a spirit that lives in the back of my head, how he got there isn't important, but he's ancient, and knows the way."
"Great. Not the weirdest I've encountered, so I won't ask." He shrugged and tilted his head to think of something else. "You got any family? Like, that you spend time with?"
"I'm kinda an outcast, half by choosing, half by bad luck, " he said, "But I do have family back in Silver Valley."
Raphael nodded. "I got nothin' else."
"What about you?" he asked, "Family?"
He tilted his head to the side. "My sister, Andy. I don't associate with the rest of my biological family anymore. But I have quite a few friends I'd consider to be family."
"Alright" he said, "I know the feeling…"
He twirled a hand around. "Shouldn't we get going? Probably be best if we could get some horses…" He shuddered at the thought.
"Horses?" Arthur scoffed, "First off, no horse is gonna let me ride," he said, "Second, why not fly?"
"Okay good, I hate horses." Raphael cocked his head and looked at Arthur curiously. "You can fly?"
"If I want to" he said, twirling a violet whisp around his finger, letting it's power pulse.
"Sweet. Let's see how fast you can fly." Raphael spread his large wings, then launched into the sky.
Arthur laughed, summoning more of his auras, and letting it surround him for a moment, before launching after him with a pair of draconic wings that had torn through his shirt.
Raphael hovered on a gust of wind, grinning down at Arthur as he easily flew up to his level. "Sweet wings," he complimented.
"Thanks" said Arthur, his violet and silver scales glinting in the sun.
Raphael swept a hand in front of him. "After you."
Arthur nodded, a powerful theust of his wings sensing him up ahead.
Raphael easily followed, sighing at the feeling of the wind through his feathers.
Arthur rode the winds easily, taking them high above the ground.
Raphael swooped around and around. He sometimes tucked his wings and free-fell for a few seconds before flaring his wings and coming back to Arthur.
Arthur watched him, occasionally copying the other's movements.
Raphael noticed Arthur copying a few of his movements, and he smirked to himself.
Arthur smiled back at him, watching him.
