(I'm extremely sorry for disappearing)
Florence yawned. It was currently mid-afternoon, and after sleeping only for a few hours, she had to wake up and go, tutor, some students who were studying at the university. She looked up to check where she was, as her phone beeped. Cherry Blossom Coffee. She narrowed her eyes at the entrance. It wouldn't hurt to wake herself up with some caffeine. Or sugar. Whatever one calls to her first. She opened the door and entered, her eyes looking around the coffee shop. There were a few people drinking their coffee, and she felt herself relax. She hadn't noticed that her body had brought her to the counter until a voice yanked her out of her "trance."
"Hm? Oh.." She paused, as she looked up at the menu behind the girl. She remained quiet for a few seconds before continuing. "A Honey Cinnamon Latte, please."
(It's completely fine, we all get busy :)) Emerald nods and turns to start making Florences order, humming softly and bringing the coffee to the counter when she was done with it. "That'll be 2.99 please" She hums and sets it down.
Florence nodded as she took out her wallet, and took out the money. She placed it on the counter as she hummed a bit. She grabbed the coffee and took a sip as she looked around the shop. "Hm, it tastes much better than I expected it to be."
Emerald hums as she takes the money and counts it, putting it into the register and handing Florence the change. "Surprisingly that's alot of people's reactions when they come here" Emerald laughs a bit and shivers, resting her hands on the counter as she watches Florence.
She looked at Emerald and smiled. "In that case, the coffee here is either amazing and the other coffee shop makes averages coffee, or they just haven't tried coffee yet." She takes another sip of her coffee. "And honestly? I'd say the former." She paused, and looked around, and then leaned forward. "What's the secret recipe, miss?" She whispers with mirth in her voice.
Emerald laughs a bit and leans a bit forward as well, glancing around before looking at Florence again. "You can't tell anyone, but the secret to making the coffee taste good is to go the extra mile and spend money on quality coffee beans. Other stores don't seem to know that-" She snickers a little, glancing out the window towards another coffee shop across the street.
