Xander stares at Clancy as he sits down.
"Discussing things is an activity reserved for trustworthy people. Nobody is trustworthy. I will not discuss things." they say simply.
"I never wanted to be here in the first place." they add.
Rhys stays quiet for a moment, contemplating. He then shrugs, “See, the thing is, would you, if you had been through what we have been trough, what to talk? Or trust random people you were forced to meet and talk to?”
Rhys knew, that if he’d been put into group therapy with these two other guys, that they must have been through some horrifying situations as well. Maybe not the same thing as him, he hoped not, no one deserved to go through what he’d gone through, but there were all kinds of things that could hurt someone’s mental state.
He stared at Clancy for a moment, then looked to the other two men in the room. He sighs and rests his chin on his palm, looking at Clancy again, “Do you really need to ask stupid questions you should already know the answers to? Like, what the point of s coming here is? The better question to ask would be ‘what do we think the point of us coming here is?’”
Rhys then went quiet, looking away as if he hadn’t meant to let out that shpeal of information. Because he hadn’t meant to let it out. What he’d meant to say was just a simple, ‘yes, your assessment is correct’ and then shut up. But of course he hadn’t.
(Yeah i was about to do that- XD)
Xander looks at the overtalker with no small ammount of trepidation before getting up and starting to move around the room, checking for the usual: hiding places, hidden traps/recording/video devices, seceret compartments and the like.
They end up disabling a fair ammount of audio recording stuff and video equipment, as well as a few other devices. Their movements are now slow and reserved as they go back to their seat.
Xander checks their numerous watches and other various timetelling devices and seems to relax just slightly before looking up and staring at Clancy.
"You. Are you here to hurt or help me?" they ask bluntly.
