To a clattering sound from downstairs, Ryuu’s blue eyes shot open. “Not again… she broke something didnt she?” He mumbled to himself as he ran his hand through his curly red hair before sitting up.
Ever since they’ve gotten those Ai’s somethings gotten broken at least once every other week! He enjoyed it more when he cleaned himself. Nothing got broken and nothing was handled by fake metal robots.
One thing he did like about them though, is that he could keep them out of his room and when hes home alone he can have some company. Even if it was fake, it was like having someone nice to talk to. He never had any confidential stuff to hide, so he would just rant as he helped the robots clean the house. Its been fun. But other than that its quite annoying when they break a million dollar vase in a glass stand in your living room.
Perfectly fine…. haha

He got a bit stressed just thinking about it, so he flipped the big comforter off of him and stood, stretching before he reached to grab his comb on his nightstand, though missing. “Why do i have to be so blind?” He asked himself with a sigh before grabbing his glasses, sliding them over his freckled face then grabbing his comb attempting to make it look nice.
A shiver running along his spine reminded him of his lack of a shirt, but feeling no motivation to get one on at all he stepped out of his room, down the hall and to the white marbled stairs in only sweatpants and a cup with coffee residue that he forgot to take downstairs and clean before he went to bed. Though he fell asleep playing video games with his friend who went home around five.
Man he was tired. Ryuu definitely wasnt in the mood to get ready for school today.
He took a step down the stairs, his feet landing softly on the white carpet before he went into the kitchen only to find his mother cursing at one of the robots again for breaking her vanilla colored plate.
She was too passive aggressive for his liking. He never knew how his father could have married such a woman. But he didnt dare Disrespect his mother like that.
“Good morning” he said quietly. The tall red head turned around, her straight long hair fell over her shoulder as she glared at her disappointment of a son, a scowl of disgust on his face. He nodded with a small smile and went to wash the mug, drying it off and putting it up in the counter, ignoring the robot that tried to do it for him. He could easily over power them and most likely break its arm, considering its made of joints and bolts. Okay, maybe not easily, but he definitely could. They were lucky he was patient and he actually saw money as something they needed and couldn’t take for granted as so many other rich people do.
“We threw it out” His mothers voice was soft like his, though thats not where he got it from. Almost seductive in a way, as she was with everyone she talked to. That was probably how she wooed his father.
Ryuu turned around with a slight glare, though quickly changing his attitude. He had respect for the people above him in authority. But his mother sure did test it.
“Threw what out?” He asked, leaning on the counter and crossing his arms over his freckle covered chest.
“The Ai you always talked to. It was a useless piece of scraps that did nothing right” she says sipping her tea, crossing her legs. She always looked elegant like she was getting ready to go on a date with a different man every day. He wouldnt be surprised if that was the case. He didnt really like his dad either, but he was alright. They both were cheating liars to eachother and their own son. They didnt know he knew, but oh he knew everything from start to finish and thats why he despised them.
“But…” he sighed. He couldn’t argue. This was his mother. One of the most terrifying woman he knew. So he kept his mouth shut and pushed himself off of the counter with a scowl.

(So what I’m thinking is maybe they were lowkey friends. Like how i described it in the post. He would just talk to her and she would respond but he never thought anything of it until they threw her out or something? Idk)

@Basic_User

Something welled inside of the cool faced AI. As soon as she heard the crash, she knew she had done it again.
Another broken artifact, because of her. This was her last chance, she knew she had blew it. Though, it was strange. For being mostly metal, and bolts, she could feel something. Guilt, maybe. But she wasn't sure, because these feelings had only recently begun to develop.
Barely taking in a word of her mistress, she hung her head, listening to her. All she heard was the drowning voice, of empty words. 'I'm sorry' She wanted to say, so badly to her mistress. But the next thing she knew, was she was being thrown outside onto the dirt, by rough hands.

The AI couldn't feel pain, she didn't have flesh to cut open. She couldn't feel a thing. That's what they told her at least, and what they had told her mistress and her husband when they had paid for her. Though at the current moment, she was feeling quite a bit of pain.
Where was she suppose to go now? She had no home, she had no where to stay. So was she just on the street for parts now?
She sure hoped not, that was an awful thing to be.

So with now plan, she pushed herself up and began walking. Everywhere and nowhere all at once, she was headed off into the unknown. The AI wrapped her arms around her, trying to act as human as possible. She was trying to fit in, in this cold world she was made into.
She took her stance after her favorite of the family, her mistress's son. He was sweet to her, and even if she never responded to his mindlessly rambling, she remembered every word he spoke.
He was a sweet boy, and from what she could tell, his name was Ryuu. Her own name, she had no clue what it was. They had all called her different things. Some too fowl to even think about.
The AI silently made her way out, and down the path alone. She had nothing to wait for, so she headed to where maybe someone would need her.

After a while of debating whether to talk to her about it or not, he decided against it. Throwing on his pastel blue sweater and some jeans, the sweater bringing out his blue eyes through his big round glasses, he grabbed his books and computer, shoving it into a bag and stepping outside, twirling the keys to his car around his finger with a slight scowl. Yeah, he was actually pretty mad about this. That was basically his only friend other than his friend that lived next door.
He looked at the big house next to his, peering through his friends window easily from where he was standing. The black spray painted windows were shut, so it would be impossible to actually see through it.
He sighed and looked at the sidewalk ahead of him, letting his mind wander.
What was he going to do today? His friend Min-Hyuk was busy today for reasons he wouldnt say. Most likely dealing drugs knowing that boy. But he shook his head trying to rid himself of those thoughts, distracted by something else. A girl walking down the sidewalk. Holding herself as if she were hurt. Quickly he ran up to her with concern written all over his freckled face. “Hey are you oka-“ he paused wide eyed when he stopped in front of her. That was…
“What’re you doing out here?” He asked as he held onto her wrist lightly, making sure not to hurt her even though she was a robot and couldn’t feel pain. He was still gentle.

(Sorry its short)

@Basic_User

(That's fine!)

The AI turned her head, hearing the familiar voice. 'Ryuu?' She wondered, looking at his freckled face. That was him alright, red haired, and gentle as usual. Pulling away, she hung her head low, unable to respond. She would tell him if she knew how, but she had never been able to speak. That's the way she had been made.
Forever and always serving in silence. She was stuck like this, and wished she wasn't. 'Maybe I should really try…' She told herself, her dark eyes lighting up slightly. She lifted her gaze to meet his, and forced broken words from what she would consider her mouth.
"K-ick- ou-t."
Her cold voice barely made the sounds, and was rather hard to understand. The AI pulled away from him, and began to walk once more. What would a boy like Ryuu want to do with a reject like her? She was only metal scraps, and he was the son of her former mistress.
Mostly because she didn't want him to get too involved, and get hurt, she forced herself to move on. This was her choice, and she assumed it was the best one. He could get hurt if she didn't let him go. This was important to her. She wasn't going to let him get hurt because of her. That was unfair. She assumed he would at least. Her mistress never really like it when he spoke to her. Now he was seeking her out, and attempting to help her. She wasn't going to let that happen. She wouldn't allow it.
"G-o-."

@Celeste_X0X0_ group

He stumbled back at the sound of her voice. "I… I didn't know you could talk" he says with a little smile. "wait could you always talk? Whenever I talked-wait…" he slapped himself lightly in the cheek, what gender quite a bit whenever he got distracted. A lot of times when he ranted to the robot whenever he helped clean. "sorry. I knownyou got kicked out but… Where will you go?" he asked not touching her but falling into her step.

@Basic_User

"No-t go-od." She stuttered, turning her face to meet his. She was frowning slightly, her dark gaze shifted to the road in front of her. "Le-ar-n fr-om yo-u." She told him, feeling a smile taking over her frown. Her tight expression was on her face, but her lips showed all the expression she needed. 'I wish I could talk normally.' With that in mind, she was going to try harder to speak clearly. "Ha-ve no-whe-re to go. I wo-rk."

@Celeste_X0X0_ group

Her expression made his heart twist and take a sharp turn down compassion lane. "come with me. You can be a secret" he says with a smile and a finger up to his lips. He felt so had and honestly, he's grown attached to this robot. He talked to it-her all the time. Whenever he was having a tough time, even when he went through those 2 whole years he was madly in love with this girl and she shattered her heart picking another guy over him. He ranted to her about that and even cried a few times. He didn't want her to leave his life so suddenly.
"here, let's go back. Mother won't know. Your bolts seem a little messed up too. I can help you with that if you would like? "

@Basic_User

The robot shook her head, and backed away from him in a rush. She seemed to be avoiding him, and seemed scared. But she was only scared for his sake. "No se-cre-t. Ba-d. You g-et hu-rt." She stammered, tripping backwards and falling to the ground. The AI continued to push herself away from Ryuu, but stopped at feeling the heating sensation in her chest. Something was wrong. She could sense it, but wasn't going to tell him.
She was overheating, and unknown to her, it was because she was speaking. The AI was overworking her system, trying to force herself to do something she wasn't allowed to. Everything was getting odd, and she began to slow. Her gears were locking up, and she was getting stiff. Things were getting hazier the longer she sat there, on the ground.
"H-help?"

@Celeste_X0X0_ group

He felt a bit rejected when she backed away from him, seeming scared. Was he scary? He didnt think he was. Did she think he was scary? Oh he sure hoped not.
He panicked a bit when she fell. Reached to help her up, his eyes widened when her gears started to act up. Was she shutting down? What was happening to her?!?
“Yeah, of-of course” he says stuttering all over the place as he bent down to his knees, picking the robot up. “Its okay, ill help you” he says to her as he held the robot in his big arms, his muscles covered by his sweater as they always were. “I can skip school today. Hopefully Min-Hyuk will be free” he mumbled to himself as he snuck in the back door of his big house, quickly scurrying up the stairs and to his room before he laid her metal body on his fuzzy white rug. “Are you okay?” He knelt down to her, trying to find out what the matter was. But the thing was, he didnt know anything about robots and the AIs.
He quickly whipped out his phone, clumsily and almost dropping it, he clicked on his friends contact and held it to his ear, listening to the ringing of the phone.

@Basic_User

She had wanted to pull away, but she couldn't. Something was legitimately stopping her from doing so. When she was set on the floor, she laid back to stare up at the ceiling. She hadn't spoken, and things began to get clearer, and she couldn't feel the heating sensation anymore.
That must have been it. She spoke, and she began to shut down.
With that in mind, the AI fell silent and avoided looking over to Ryuu. She didn't want to hurt his feelings, but she also didn't want to damage herself for the sake of how he would feel.
If she let that get in the way, she could possibly damage herself to an extent of no repair. He could possibly be devastated then, and she didn't want that.
The AI pushed herself up into a sitting position now, and watched what the boy was doing. 'Who could he possibly be calling?' She wondered, pulling her knees up to her chest.

@Celeste_X0X0_ group

A low voice picked up on the other line and Ryuu smiles even though his friend couldn’t see it. “Hey Min! I need your help. Come to my house ASAP. Also, take the window into my room” he says looking over at the window above his desk. Hopefully he didn’t hurt anything or himself.
“Why?” He asked as if detesting though Ryuu already heard him ducking out of class, hearings the door slam. “Okay whatever. You better explain this to me well once I get there, also, I’m coming through the side window in the bathroom. Your window has a desk below it” He says into the phone.
Ryuu heard the revving of a motorcycle and a small beep.
Setting the phone down, he looked back at her with a worried look.

(Sorry it’s short)

@Basic_User

(It's all good! You don't need to apologize :3)

When he gave her that look, she turned away from him. She couldn't stand to look at him, when he looked like that.
'He looks… sad? No, more than sad.' She began talking to herself mentally, trying to place why the look on his face bothered her so badly. 'Scared maybe? But… not exactly… why are human emotions so difficult to figure out?' She groaned internally.
Trying to be brave, she turned her head back to face him.
Still being quiet, she for once took in his features. From a different perspective at least. She had seen the way he looked before, but he seemed strangely different. He had never had that look about him, around her before. Or maybe he had, just she hadn't noticed.
Why should she have? She was his servant, and nothing more. She was positive of that, or at least mostly.

Her dark gaze flickered up and down, from the floor to him, multiple times. 'He's so different from my mistress.' She noted, before looking around the room. 'Very different, even if they look the same.'

@Celeste_X0X0_ group

Soon the door to his room creeped open and stepped in a guy around Ryuu’s age if not exactly the same age. Tall but definitely a few inches shorter than Ryuu, raven black hair and a scowl on his face with sickly pale skin. A black and white striped long sleeved shirt with a black t shirt over it with ripped jeans, a thick black choker and piercings lining his ears with crosses dangling from them. He was basically the definition of E-boy. But don't call him that, he knows how to fight.
“What’d you need me fo- holy sh*t…. why is that here?” He looked at the ground. “Hey! No cursing. And its a she” he crossed his arms. “Anyway, i need your help. Shes over heating and her systems all screwed up. Can you fix her?” He sat on his bed, looking down at the AI with worry. “Please Min” he asked nicely. Min-Hyuk was stubborn, but Ryuu was basically his only weakness. He was adorably sweet in every way and always nice to him when nobody was. Of course he was gong to help him. Though he was slightly annoyed.
“You’re lucky i live next door man. Ill go get my supplies” he says with a sigh, his grey cold as ice eyes glaring down at the AI, thinking about what to do before he hopped out the window.
Ryuu turned to the robot, wondering what to call her. But he would worry about that when she was all fixed up. He didn't want to get too attached. Oh wait, too late.
“Don’t mind Min. He's a butthead, but he’s sweet. He just never shows it” he smiled, not expecting her to reply. He was always used to talking to her without a reply anyway.

@Basic_User

The AI watched the interaction with interest. The other, she hadn't seen before. 'Min… that's what Ryuu said. That must be his name.' She decided, as she looked up at 'Min' with wonder.
His cold stare unsettled her though. She couldn't stand the feeling. She disliked his cold eyes, as they made her feel something she couldn't place. It didn't sit well with her, she just had this odd feeling.
He didn't really seem the sweet type. That's why she found Ryuu's words so ironic. 'He's a butthead, but he's sweet.' How much more of a 'butthead' could you be, to glare at someone before leaving the room. Again, if you couldn't already tell, she didn't like the way he had looked at her. So she slid along the floor, until her back hit the edge of the bed. She looked up at Ryuu, before resting her chin on her knees.
'What was he doing here? Ryuu said something about me… and fixing…' Her thoughts trailed, and she held herself closer together.
'Is he going to fix me?' She wondered, her gaze trailing around the room she was in.
She hoped that's what was happening, she hoped the other boy could make her be able to talk. Even if she didn't like his eyes on her, she could endure it long enough for him to fix her. Right?

@Celeste_X0X0_ group

He waiting patiently on the edge of his bed for him to get back.
Startled when she moved, he smiled when she rested her chin on him. “Oh, you can move” He ruffling her hair. He’s always been playful with his friends, and a bit touchy. But it never hurt anyone and he respected other people’s space bubbles.
“Don’t worry. He won’t hurt you. He’s going to help fix you” he tried to put it kindly. He didn’t want it to sound like there was something wrong with her.
But at the same time, she was actually broken.
