Joseph sighs. "Yea…there's a void in my head."

"Pretty much."

"Noted," she laughed.

He chuckles. "Thanks for helping me yesterday."

"With…?" She tilted her head.

"Everything."

"Too broad," she objected.

"the coughing fits. My illness acting up."

"Oh. It's no problem," she replied softly.

He smirks. "Also that kiss was kind of nice."

She blushed furiously and tucked her hair behind her ear again even though it hadn't moved. "Oh, um… Uh–"

He chuckles. "It's true though."

She didn't know if she should tell him that was her first kiss or not. "Y-You're welcome, I guess…"

(For the record, Joseph took one of the most powerful businesswomen in the world and made her melt.)
