So I watched Venom last night and I low key actually loved it. So I’m stealing the plot, just a little bit.
Symbiotes crash to earth, one escapes the pod before the scientists arrive and finds a human. They are intrigued by the human, and decide to keep them as an alive vessel rather than a dead one, and work with them in their daily life doing whatever it is the human does (like, I was thinking maybe an off-the-record detective or assassin/mercenary?). This will be set in the far future because I want it to be and for no other reason. Anyways, we can figure out plot stuff from there, I just want monster romance with queer vibes y’all.
Rules are andrew (Our Supreme Lord and Overseer)’s, no NSFW, gore violence and swearing are all fine, and have fun!
Template:
Name:
Gender:
Personality:
Clothing:
Appearance:
Age: (like, 21-28 for the human, any age range older than 21 as well for the monster cuz symbiotes/monsters/aliens might age at different rates.)
Other:
I’m making a second one of these because I want to see how someone else will handle the prompt. Go ham on this! It’ll be fun!
(Hey uhm, this sounds like a lot of fun, could I possibly join?))
(Erm, either or I don't mind, also what type of romance are we doing? MxM, FxF, MxF, NBxM, NBxF, or NBxNB?)
(I intended the monster to be nonbinary. I would like to play that character, preferably, so make your character whatever gender you want!)
(okay, cool beans, I'm gonna make use boio then! And uhm, templates or just jumping in?))
(We can just jump in, I think. Want to start, or should I?)
Locust slithered their mass over the forest floor, surprised there still was forest. From what they had seen, technology had overtaken this pitiful planet. But, they assumed, wildlife preservation must have been important, otherwise the humans would have been choked out by the lack of oxygen. So they moved on in hopes of finding a body to overtake, to use.
Adrian glanced around the forest, holding a flashlight in his shaking hand. He had seen some odd looking lights off in the distance, and well since he had no current cases wanted to see what they were all about. Also, it was a Saturday night and he was bored and was in need of something to do, and for some reason this was an option. As the trekked through the forest, he glanced around nervously, jumping at every little sound or movement I don't remember this place being so scary in the daytime, maybe I should just go back home. But for some reason he kept on walking, as he approached something shiny off in the distance, What the hell is that? He thought as he edged closer, looking at a broken pod, or something like that, he wasn't sure what it was at all. All he knew was that he just wanted to leave and go home, this situation was weird enough. He quickly snapped a few pictures before quickly leaving the area.
When Locust spotted the human, they pounced, slithering up a pantleg until they reached his chest, melting into the man’s form and taking in their place inside. However the man struggled, it was ultimately worthless, Locust had taken possession of his body now and there was nothing the puny human could do about it.
Adrien yelped a little when they felt something jump onto them. They figured that it was just a bug or something, but it felt too big to be a bug, but still. He slammed his hand down onto his leg, trying to swat the thing away, but when it kept on climbing, the boy figured that something was definitely wrong, especially when he felt the thing just like, enter him? Like now it was a part of him, Something's wrong, what the hell just happened… He pulled out his phone calling one of his friends trying to let them know that something had gone wrong, but they had no reception. So they just continued to rush back to their car, hoping that they could just figure this mess out.
Locust hadn’t mastered communication yet, that would come later. For now, they took control of Adrien’s hand and used it to slap his face. Or their face, since they had taken over the man. Adrien, what a fitting name. Locust they said inside the man’s mind, trying to communicate as well as they could at the moment.
What th- He thought as his hand moved to slap himself, "Okay, what's going on." He said to seemingly no one, "What this is, this isn't funny…." Oh, my gods…Am I just hearing things, or did hear someone say Locust? They climbed into their car, and just put their head down on the steering wheel, I'm done, I've probably had one too many energy drinks today, or maybe I just need to get a better sleep schedule, yeah that's it, I just need to actually sleep, then this problem will be solved.
Locust didn’t have much access to Adrien’s mind and body yet, so they instead focused on their surroundings. It was dark out, but lighter in the car, and warmer. The streets were lit up by neon signs and great lights, and as the car was started, instead of rolling on wheels like an older car would, it hovered.
What in the world… Adrien thought, turning his car off almost immediately. No, we aren't going to do that, nope, let's call Kayla and get a ride home. He fumbled for his phone, since his phone was now working once more. Pick up, pick up, pick up. But, she didn't, it seemed as though nothing was going right for him today, What do I even do right now…
The car continued to hover, mainly due to the malfunctioning tech from the pod that had patched itself onto the closest vehicle in the area. Listen to me. Drive home. Eat. Sleep. You will learn more tomorrow. they said in their deep, inhuman voice. It is not time yet. so, they had figured out speech. Good for them, they could communicate at least even if they couldn’t do much else.
Maybe this creepy voice is right, I just need to rest a little bit… The streets were practically empty at the moment, and no one seemed to notice the car slightly floating off the ground. After about ten more minutes, he got to his apartment complex, and stumbled up the stairs towards his apartment.
Since it seemed that Adrien was having difficulties in walking, Locust took control the rest of the way and made Adrien walk, with perfect posture, up the stairs to get something to eat. God, were they hungry.
The human was really just exhuasted from work and such, and in a weird way was sort of grateful to have the thing help him walk the rest of the way. When he entered his apartment, he made his way over to the small kitchen and just started to heat up some leftovers from the day before. While those were cooking he washed up a little bit, trying to wake himself up, Probably I'm just sleep deprived maybe that's what's messing with me?
