June clapped once after putting her knife away, causing a cloud of black mist surround her, using it as a get-away. She disappeared, gone in the few seconds it took the mist to clear. Devon was still standing there, his eyes glowing from the shadows.
She almost giggled “ one ghost to another, you shouldn't put your nose in my shit~”
Cavendish tilts their head. "Ghost? Huh. This seems to be a very fragile situation, and I think I know who to blame. . ."
“Oh? So you to you put the pressure onto?” she said sickeningly sweet
Cavendish stays silent for a moment. Then they speak.
"I said I think I know who to blame. I never gave any conclusive evidence, and was never given any conclusive evidence. But in the end, yes, I might know." they murmur.
Bane moved out of the way of Cavendish's attempt at a blow. How pathetic. "I am just doing what father told me." He smiles, enjoying all the moving parts of the chaos around him. The girl wants me dead. This person is testing my limits. Some other girl wants to fight, and her sibling wants to join along. And now they're all being stupid, with one disappearing like a coward. He laughs his voice breaking the argument, holding his head high and glancing from person to person. "All of you are pathetic. Trying to fight each other and end it in a messy bloodbath. Have fun with that. I'd like to see your dead bodies," he sneers. Bane sheaths the sword and gives a salute. "Good day." He turned heel, walking in the opposite directions of the four, his back purposely turned. "Oh, by the way, girl, you can't murder me. In fact, you suck at your job."
Cavendish chuckles. "'Pathetic', huh?"
The next thing Bane knows, he's on the ground, the tip of a knife pressed to his jugular. "I wouldn't try moving, hellhound. I can push this blade into your neck before you even manage to go shadow."
Devon smirked, disappearing in the shadows and followed the guy who seemed to be the center of attention. He had no interest in fighting, but his sister did. She was hiding amongst the other two, probably about to start throwing rocks at them, just to annoy them. Gods she is so annoying he rolled his eyes. He almost laughed at the statement 'you suck at your job'.
She merely sighed “ I never asked for your damn opinion
"Get. Off. Me. You. Goddamn. Bastard," his words were slow but effective. Before any weapon could be lodged in his neck, he flexes his fingers, and claws appear. He digs them into the hand that held the knife to his neck. He pushed the hand up, getting the knife away from his neck. He moved his body, and in a flash, he was pressing his attacker to the ground. "This is not how I usually do things, but it keeps me from being murdered by your ass. Je ne suis pas désolé." He took the knife from Cavendish and tossed it to the side. "Experienced with hellhounds?"
Naize let her wrist blades flow out and lock, poised like a cat to attack. Her legs bent like tension ready springs and her eyes watched every detail
June apperead in front of the hellhound, "Hi! You are a hell hound? Like the servants of Hades kind of thing?" She asked curiously. Devon grabbed her arm, pulling her back a step before she ended up getting attacked.
Bane glared at June, snarling. June hit a point on Bane's "Do not do: hellhound's edition" list. "No. I don't serve Hades. We are the war dogs of hell. We are demon companions. We murder for them, guard for them. Cold-blooded murders." He knows nothing of hellhound myths and hades. Bane presses his claws further into Cavendish's hand, his anger cultivating. He yanks a throwing knife off his belt, seeming to have slipped into the feral mind of an animal, aiming the knife at June's shoulder. He throws it at her.
June disappeared as the knife came at her, reappearing after it passed. "thats to bad, it would give us an excuse to get along." she shrugged.
Naize stood on the sideline. “ are we sure we can trust your word? Where is your demon after all?”
Devon tilted his head, muttering "demon servants? Why don't I know about that-" He closed his mouth once he realized he had spoke aloud.
Naize looked at the man “ you know something?” her tone was different, instead of false kindness, it was curious and now really low, damn near a whisper
Devon took a step backwards, intending to hide in the shadows again. He didn't like being noticed. June rolled her eyes at this, knowing her brother had spoke when he didn't mean to. He often voiced his thoughts out loud, only to realize it too late. She would have to talk to him later.
Bane rolls his eyes as his annoyance grows. He sheaths his claws, gets off of Cavendish, and stands up. His eyes narrowed, and his nose was scrunched. Bane’s hands were on his hips, the red in his eyes slowly fading back into onyx and blue. “I said we serve them, not that there was demon around idiot. And you.” He turned to Devon, “Got something to say?”
Devon took another step back, regretting ever opening his mouth. June stepped in "we know more about demons than like, any of you. sooo thats all" she said in attempt to save her brother from whatever was going on.
“ do yah, care to elaborate?”
Cavendish laughs, a light but harsh sound.
"Kill me. I fucking dare you, hellhound. Kill me, and the wrath of the Guild will be upon you." they murmur.
They laugh at the whole interaction, then get up when Bane gets off.
Bane raised his eyebrow and laughed. "More than the actual demon. You pathetic creatures think you're so high and mighty. I might as well murder all of you rather than spare your lives. After all, we've been getting too buddy buddy." He pulled a dagger from his belt and twirled it in his hand. Was he actually going to rush the siblings? He hadn't made up his mind yet. He was tempted to. It would eradicate his problem. But, it would also create a new one.
