The musical Alice by Heart has instilled a desire for some sort of semi-modern Alice x White Rabbit ship because of the characters Alice and Alfred in it. So I had an idea for this modern day romance sort of thing.
Basically, Alice’s parents ship her off to like a psych ward because they think that Wonderland is all in her head and that’s where our characters meet. But I can’t decide if I would rather the White Rabbit dude be a patient (something where he feels he’s running out of time) or just someone who works there. Once someone joins we can hammer out some details.
(Also I may ask for a sample of your writing)
(Also also no smut or gore please)
sure! would you like to be alice or the white rabbit?
since idk what to do for the white rabbit as much i guess i’ll be alice then lol
Okie! I might have an idea, tell me if you like it or not. So he's a worker there, but he's like super on time and schedule-heavy. He's always rushing around and doing stuff early or on time.
yeah sounds good. also maybe he could not really have a plan with where he wants his life to go and stress over that? just be like constantly stressed lol? you don’t have to use that but it’s something that your idea made me think of.
Yeah! I like that as well!
okay do you want to make a template or go in blind?
Emm, maybe templates on this one?

Name: Alice Liddell
Age: 17
Gender: female
Sexuality: straight
Appearance: She has long, chestnut brown hair just over chest length and crystal blue eyes with short, thick lashes. She is average height, standing at 5’ 4”, with a thin body type and an infectious smile. Alice has a straight nose that is slightly turned up at the end and thin lips. She usually wears clothes that are paler, muted colors.
Personality: Alice is somewhat reserved at first, since she has always been treated like her opinions are wrong or unimportant. However, she is actually quite brave and defiant at her core. She’s very bookish and intelligent, but horrible with common sense or people. She has a big imagination and likes to paint.
Backstory: Ever since she was around twelve, she has been having dreams and visions of a place called Wonderland. So her parents shipped her off to this special psych ward for kids who have similar “hallucinations” but Alice is certain that what she sees is real. She is sure that the head nurse is the Queen of Hearts and some of her fellow patients are a Caterpillar, a Chesire Cat, and a Mad Hatter, among others.

Name: Felix White
Age: 18
Gender: Male
Sexuality: Straight
Appearance: Pale skin and brown eyes with the slightest amount of red lining the pupil. He has blond straight hair, he has short fluffy side-swept bangs. He is 5'5" and has a fit body with some muscle, but not a lot. He usually wears a button-up shirt with and without a denim jacket and jeans.
Personality: He is stressed a lot of the time. He has a tight schedule and he never misses those times, never being late for something. This causes him to be uptight a lot of the time. He is also very confused and unsure about where he wants his life to go.
Backstory: When he was younger, he had so many aspirations and ideas, but the adults in his life shot down his dreams and left him confused about everything. He didn't get a job until his senior year of high school because he didn't know where to work. He finally got the one at the psych ward since his parents respected jobs in the medical field, but he didn't want to be a regular type of doctor.

(i like him! i’ll post a starter in a sec!)
It was an average day at the Behavioral Hospital for Troubled and Psychotic Youths, a name that Alice hated, just like everything else about what everyone of it referred to as “the center.” She didn’t even understand why they called it that, since “center” was nowhere in its actual name. Probably because the staff here deemed most of its victims too fragile for anything that was honest.
Currently, Alice’s group was supposed to be painting their emotions as “art therapy” but the staff was never happy with her paintings. They showed Wonderland, the place she traveled to whenever the real world was too much for her. Of course, most of the staff treated her as a child, telling her that her paintings were supposed to be calming and not more of her “allusions,” which she knew was just code for hallucinations. The staff never believed her when she told them that Wonderland was as real as she was. At least the Queen of Hearts wasn’t in here today. She was the meanest of the nurses there, and Alice hated her.
Though she wouldn’t admit it, Alice actually enjoyed art therapy. She had her longish hair tied up in a ponytail and a paint-splattered apron over her pale blue shirt and high-waisted jeans. At least they let her choose her own outfits. One of the few freedoms the kids there had. Next to her, a boy named Jake painted crude images of one of the more annoying nurses, who was currently at the front reading a magazine instead of actually paying them any attention. Alice herself was painting a picture of the Wonderland Forest, full of vibrant colors and strange designs.
A sigh escaped Felix's mouth as he finished a session with a girl named Chessidy. He fell back in the chair he was in, but within a second he quickly stood up and checked the time on his watch. Rushing out of the room, he turned the corner and made his way to the art therapy room. Quietly, he opened the door not to disturb anyone. He speed-walked to the nurse and took her place. Slowly, he scanned the group to make sure they were all doing their work. He then started roaming around to look at everyone's paintings.
