She had everything planned, or at least, Lillith thought she did, because the next thing she knew, she was being risen into the air. She let out a high-pitched scream that she would later deny making. The rope had gotten her leg when she was walking away from it and now she was dangling in mid-air and oh gods, it was embarrassing. Her brown hair was all over her face and she had to keep spitting out strands of hair because they kept getting into her mouth.
(It's ok got a little worried for a second lol)
Isla heard the scream and instantly ran towards it it only took about 10 minutes before she reached the woman dangling in the air she gave a confused look before speaking. " um are you okay do you need help? " her brown locks were pulled into a loose braid and small strands of hair had already started to come out of the braid and frame her face she pulled out her dagger and started working on the rope that kept the strange floating woman suspended

"Does it look like I'm fine?" she snapped. It took her a second to realize that what she said was rude. "I'm sorry, I just….ugh, this is so hard to explain." She looked as the dagger went through the rope and before she knew it, she was falling on the ground. "Thanks," she mumbled.
"Yeah it's no problem don't worry about it. " she smirked a bit sheathing her dagger and walking up to the woman and reaching out her hand to help her up "are you hurt? "

(i forgot about this bc i forgot to bookmark it and then regular school started like three weeks after i left summer school🧍. i apologize for keeping you waiting for so long)
Lillith stared at the outstretched hand, and it took her a couple of seconds to realize that she was supposed to take it. After Isla helped her up, she avoided looking at her by looking if she had received any injuries. "Um, not really. Just a couple of scratches, but those will heal up soon enough."

Isla laughed a little as Lilith took her hand and she pulled her up " well that's good, do you need anything are you sure you're okay? "
Lilith nodded. "Yeah, I'm fine. It's nothing that hasn't happened to me before." She paused as Lilith took her in. "And what about you? What are you doing here? Many people don't come to the forest. Something about them thinking it's cursed or something."
"Oh well alright then,…. Oh um I usually take strolls through the forest quite often but I've never seen you out here before.. " she said smiling a little as she looked at the strange woman
Lilith raised an eyebrow. She didn't quite believe her. You would think she would have at least seen her once, considering that she lived here. "Oh, I, um, live just a little farther into the forest. I usually spend my time in my cabin or just wandering in general."
Isla nodded oh I see "well do you have any idea who put this trap up here? "
Lilith stared at the tree behind Isla, and after considering if it'd be better if she told the truth, or told a little white lie, she shook her head. "No idea. Perhaps a hunter? I don't know anyone in this forest that would create a trap such as that. I'm Lilith, by the way."

Isla looked at the girl and then at the tree an shrugged "well I suppose that adds up, but wouldn't you have seen it?" She asked raising her eye brow and crossing her arms.

Lilith shrugged. "I haven't left my home these past couple of weeks. I've been nursing an animal back to health, and all the things I need are usually not far from my cottage."
Isla looked at Lilith suddenly very very interested in what she was saying, not that she wasn't listening to her before, "oh? What kind of animal are you nursing?? "
"A bird," she replied. "Not sure what type of bird it is, but Misty brought it back to the cottage after a nasty storm. But it's been healing nicely, and I think it'd be about time I release it back into the wild."
Isla smiled a little when she heard that the animal was a bird. "Is there any chance you could tell me what it looked like? The bird I mean.. I know quite a bit about them, and I might be able to tell you. "
Lilith looked a bit surprised that Isla might be able to help her out, after all, it wasn't so common for people to know about birds. Perhaps this girl comes from a rich family? It was certainly something she couldn't dismiss. "Well, let me see, it has a white, maybe grey belly, with an orange-reddish chest. The rest of the bird is a light brown color." She pauses, trying to think of anything else that might help. "Oh, and he's sorta small, for an adult that is."
"Hm… That kind of sounds like a robin, but I couldn't be sure with just that information. " she said with her finger on her chin and a small smile on her lips.

She nods. One could describe the ingredients of a potion to her and she might be able to give you the correct name, or she might not. It was the same thing with the bird. "Ah, of course. Would seeing it be of any help?" Lilith asks, her hands playing with the hem of her skirt.
