Hey, I have a steampunk/fantasy plot?
There is a realm where one half of human souls take the form of lifelong animal companions that can be any shape or size they wish, although they can only be one specific animal, and the other half remains with humans, thus making two different, linked personalities. Dark forces are at work in this world, and many children have been kidnapped by beings known only as The It. Our characters, both having become of age (16) to leave their own homes and join the University, the most prestigious academy for only the richest, are now surrounded by disappearances in their own school. Time is running out, and together they steal an airship and sail to help save their people from this horror. They make new friends, find new places undiscovered to their people as of yet, but they must also find out soon what this strange, beautiful compass means and what place it has in their tale.
This can totally be a romance, whatever, I just want to know if I could join?

I came up with this via my brain. I like fantasy and I drew some inspiration from C.S. Lewis, so if it seems similar to his style then it's not coincidental lol.
