Yeah! I like "His face was cloaked in shadow, but that didn't matter. I would recognize that gravely voice anywhere."

I've also found a couple that seem intriguing as well:

• No one expects an angel to set the world on fire.
• As humanity sends its first manned expedition beyond the orbit of the earth, it discovers that humans are actually immortal, but "Mother Earth" is actually a living organism that has been consuming their life force to survive.
• Children who die at a young age are given a very special role in the afterlife: they become invisible friends, assigned to other children who need them back in the living realm.
• Turns out, i couldn't have been more wrong. There was a curse. There was a girl. And in the end, there was a grave. I never even saw it coming.

Nope! I like all of those the same equally, so (you could say I had ulterior motives in putting down that list so I could get your opinion) that's great!

personality lilith had always been a shy girl. growing up, she was that one kid at school who just hung around in the background, and was the last person picked for anything. she never made any effort to befriend anyone, as she preferred that someone make the first move. however, she worked hard in school and got good grades. she enjoyed standing near the creek by her house and trying to catch fish, and playing make-believe games. but after her death, her interest in these things dulled, and she grew more interested in medical-related things. in addition, her death resulted in her new-found fear of feeling cold

backstory (include things like family, why they need the invisible friend/how they died, ect.) lilith was an only child, and every now and then she visits her family, though they can't see her, and she silently observes as her would-be sibling grows up. lilith didn't live near the school she attended, so she would ride the bus to school everyday. one day, on a no-school, very snowy and cold day, lilith ventured out, bundled up very tightly in warm clothes to the bus stop, and waited for the bus to come. her mother and father both had full time jobs, and were unaware that there was no school, and the bus never came. eventually, noon came and passed. she couldn't've gone back inside her house, as all the doors were locked. her parents were usually home to greet her, so she never needed a house key. the temperatures dropped to fifty degrees below freezing, and her clothes weren't enough to keep her warm. as one might imagine, eventually, she just died. hypothermia symptoms soon set in, and three was nothing she could do to stop it.

other her "pet" owl and cat actually weren't pets of hers before her death. they just appeared, shortly after her death with her to keep her company. (or, as she says, to keep her sane) she also carries around a postcard with this image on it, because it reminds her that she'll always have her "pets" jada and trinity. in addition, the animal in the postcard was labeled trinity, and the woman was labeled brianna in black sharpie. (in the rp, ofc.)

Name: Adam Jones
Age: 10
Gender: Male
Sexuality: Straight
Appearance: He, has redish brown messy hair. His eyes are a light brown color matching his tan freckled skin. He's 5'2'', a lanky hourglass figure, and very thin skinned. He normally wears regular every day clothes, nothing special.
Personality: Quiet and closed off from most people, but still kind and gentle.
Backstory: Adam's current family consists of his oldest brother and a mother who craves a daughter. His father died in an accident unknown years ago, and his mother had another child, a daughter (right before getting pregnant with Adam) who died at birth. Adam's mother is a forceful strong headed lady, who will not take no for an answer. Causing Adam to feel verbally abused and/or insecure and unsafe. He's lonely and bullied at school, because the boys think it's dumb that his mother makes him take dance classes, but he can't get out of either. His brother moved out before he was born, and hasn't even met him, only over phone conversations.
Other: He does dance, mostly because of his mother's want for a daughter who can carry on the legacy. (So he isn't getting much of a choice.) He also wants to be an artist.
