Being stuck on the Nec Occupied planet was not ideal for Emil. He did not like this one bit, especially since he was alone. Minutes earlier he saw a Nec Squad execute some random guy on the street - what could he do about it, though? Get shot? His efforts alone were useless, right now.

He watched some ships fly overhead, a bright coloured one catching his eye for a second. But he preferred the shade right here. Emil did not deal well with heat. Even in the shade, it was still hot. So he limited his movement as much as possible as of now.

He heard that someone was coming to get him off of this cursed planet. Emil called it cursed mostly because this wasn’t the first time he had gotten stuck here. Arguably, the first time wasn’t bad. But boy, was it hot here.

And Emil just had to suffer through the heat.

Spencer brushed past many odd folks. And he shared a smile to each of them. Even the Necs, despite his dislike of them. Keep a low profile; just stay nice, his ma used to say. Keep yourself out of trouble. Maybe people found Spencer to be odd, maybe they didn’t. Spencer didn’t really care, though. He just did his own thing.

He looked to the shade, spotting someone who seemed rather uncomfortable in the heat. Approaching the person without hesitation, he tapped the person’s shoulder before grinning and greeting, “Nice day I see?”

Emil glared up at the person, squinting in the light of the sun. In a gruff answer, he spoke. “I do not appreciate your sarcasm.”

He brushed sand from himself and stood to his feet at a height of 6’3.

Spencer didn’t seem fazed, keeping the smile on the entire time. He looked up at the other person, much shorter at 5’6.

“What sarcasm? I am just trying to spread positivity is all.” He winked, before stepping a bit closer. “Are you the one that sent the signal?” He whispered.

Emil sighed at this person. He wasn’t sure if he liked him very much. But when the man asked him a question, he paused.

“You’re the one..who responded?”

oh god..” He muttered.

Deleted user

“Yup,” He blinked, “that would be me, Spencer. Pleased to meet you…” He stuck his hand out for a handshake.

Deleted user

“I cannot say the same to you.” Emil did not accept. This was his way off the planet?

“You are..you have a ride off this place, right?”

Deleted user

“Definitely! Although I fly. I hope you don’t mind spider bots, either.” He turned around. “My ship is at the shipyard; we just need to get there and I can take you back to where you need to be.”

Kayi walked down the streets again, into the shadier regions. They noted two individuals in particular, stopping. Aspect paused, looking at Kayi. And Kayi waved the other away, telling them to go ahead, I’ll catch up. Not exactly saying that, but just implying the words.

They watched, clearly not trying to hide themselves.

“Ah..oh god.” Emil looked into the sky. He did not enjoy flying, and with this fool flying? He could not imagine such a thing. He looked back down. “I do not want to stay here any longer. Get me off this planet.”

He glanced around, feeling as if he was watched from afar.

“Aye aye, cap!” He called out. Spencer turned around, preparing to leave to the Shipyard, when he spotted the Nec watching them from across the street. Something wasn’t right….

That was the same Nec from before.

He glanced back, still keeping a smile on, but it was clear that it did not reach his eyes. Instead, he seemed almost nervous, like, ‘I want to get out of here as fast as possible.’ And he did. Judging by that Nec’s outfit, they were high rank..

“Come on, let’s go.”

Emil stiffened, realizing Spencer had noticed the Nec watching from afar. He leaned forwards, whispering, “Emil. I’m Emil.” Before quickening his pace to match the other.

Spencer nodded. “Pleased to meet you, Emil. My ship is at the shipyard, it’s hard to miss as well.”

They are not speaking that quiet. Or maybe Kayi just had good hearing. They stayed silent, watching, then walking off.

Although their true plans were to get to their own ship; Kayi’s; and track them. Kayi suspected these people of something, and Kayi wanted the truth - or maybe not. They were possible threats. And if things went south - well.

Kayi would have to take care of the problem is all.

Emil nodded. It does make sense. Why would you put your ship anywhere else? Unless you were…illegally parking.

Glancing back, Emil realized the Nec had vanished. He didn’t say anything, but he did suspect that Nec was suspicious.

Spencer looked up at Emil again. The shipyard was coming close, Spencer’s brightly coloured ship visible. “Ah,” he quickly said. “Here we are, at last! The ship!”

Deleted user

Emil glanced at Spencer. Then back at the ship.

“That’s quite a..sight.” He looks behind him quickly. “I suppose we should be leaving.”
