Thesa changed into the other pair of clothes, her non work ones and cane back out of the bathroom, farmers tan visible with the sleeveless shirt she was wearing. A pair of soft brown pants that were a little too long for her matched her shirt and she tossed her other clothes by the edge of her bed. It was always a toss up if Stabby was going to eat a sock in the middle on the night or not, because then she would have to wake up and get it unstuck. She glanced over at him momentarily and sat down on her bed, looking around for somewhere he could stay if he wanted to sleep as well.

@ElderGod-Icefire

Zev was silent, sitting down with the cord stretching from the dataport to the back of his neck. His eyes were open, though he didn't seem to actually be watching anything.

@gracehustle

“Can you hear me?” She asked Zev head tipping to the side slightly in question, “Would you like me to make a makeshift bead for you? Or I can just cover you with a blanket if you’re gonna stay there all night.” For a moment she wondered what news he was going through, if he had gotten to the massive attacks on the cities on both sides with millions of casualties. She felt bad that he was only just learning about all the terrible things that had happened.

@ElderGod-Icefire

Zev blinked, looking up at her. "Oh. I don't need anything. Thank you." He said. "I don't need to sleep. I will most likely stay connected all night, catching up." He told her. He had already gone through the first ten years he had missed, getting down the basics from it. He would go more in-depth later.

@gracehustle

“Alright,” She replied with a shrug, laying down on her bed and glancing over at him, “Wake me up if you need anything, but be prepared to deal with the grumpy me.” Her eyes flicked shut and she tugged a thick homemade quilt over herself, slapping the lights off before she fell asleep. Most of the planets were on different times, meaning most people stuck to their native time and that was it. Like Thesa did.

@ElderGod-Icefire

Zev nodded again. "Alright." He said. "Thank you." He went back to the dataport, flicking through the information. He sent a message to Alexi Shokov, but didn't expect a reply for a while.

(Timeskip to morning?)

@gracehustle

(Ya)
Time was difficult to measure in space, but roughly eight hours later she woke up. She shifted around for a while and yawned before her eyes opened to look around. Her blanket was kicked into a ball near her feet and she sighed, rubbing her face and sitting up, “Stabby, did you eat my sock again?” The robot was bumping against the side of her bed with half a sock sticking out of it, beeping every so often and trying to eat the rest of it.

@ElderGod-Icefire

Zev was still in the same position that he had been, still hooked up to the dataport. His eyes flicked everywhere as he continued going through information. He didn't notice that she had woken up, too deep into the news.

@gracehustle

With a look on her face that said she dealt with this a lot, she picked up the robot and flipped it over. Like she thought, Stabby had eaten her sock. She grabbed onto the remaining piece and yanked it away before flipping the robot back over and setting it on the ground. An indignant beep was all she got in return and the machine hurried away as she looked over to Zev. “Morning,” She said, standing up and pulling on her socks that had almost been eaten.

@ElderGod-Icefire

Zev looked up, and unplugged from the dataport. "Morning." He replied, the thin cord going back into his neck as he stood. He sighed softly. "My…Alexi may send you a message. He didn't yet respond to mine. If he does, will you let me know?" He asked, looking at her.

@gracehustle

“Sure, Sounds good.” She stretched and sighed again, walking over to the kitchen portion of the room and starting some boiling water again for breakfast. The room was a little small but not unreasonably so. She had to watch just a little to make sure she wasn’t going to run into him.

@ElderGod-Icefire

Zev pulled his fingers through his hair, looking over at her. "I'm going to go through the Daedalus's computer records, come and get me when you need me." He said, and left her ship, walking onto his own and heading to the cockpit.

@gracehustle

Thesa nodded, watching him leave before making her breakfast and changing into her normal work clothes. After she got ready, she made her way back to the cockpit, getting back to work with her food propped up against the side of a panel so she could eat. It wasn’t quite cool enough yet, steam rising from the packet.

@ElderGod-Icefire

Zev went to the cockpit, sitting down at the Captain's console, tapping a few keys and going through the different video files. He wanted to find out what exactly happened that day. Because…that was what he didn't know. There was a blank hole in his memory. As if he had just…woken up alone. He found a video from a broadcast sent to the ship, and played it. "We have received news that the Z model is aboard the ship, and that he possesses information that could end or break this war. We want him." He frowned slightly as he watched.

@gracehustle

She ate while she worked, grabbing bites here and there between fixing wires and replacing important components. The work wasn’t fun, but it was necessary. If she had some way to play music, she definitely would be playing it, but the silence was nice too. It let her think.

@ElderGod-Icefire

Zev frowned slightly, and kept going through the ships memory, downloading everything of importance that he saw. He knew that once they left, he could never come back. Which was fine. He had spent far too long here already.

@gracehustle

The wires she was working with were obviously quite old, though she didn’t want to take anything from Zev’s ship unless she absolutely needed to. Old wires would work, at least until she got to a planet and actually took the time to fix her ship. She scooped the last of her breakfast into her mouth and set back to work, humming her favorite song from when she was a child as she rolled into her back to fix the actual buttons and internal workings of the controls. All that was sticking out and visible were her legs.

@ElderGod-Icefire

Zev headed back to Thesa's ship, and came into the cockpit. Spotting her legs, he asked, "What is the name of your ship?" He bent down and began to help with the controls. "Or does she not have one?" His eyes flicked to her for a moment, then back to the wires above him.

@gracehustle

Victory,” She replied, not even glancing at him as she popped out wires and untwisted and got rid of the ones she couldn’t save, “That’s her name.” She bit her lip in concentration and grinned when she got the final wire out so she could get the broken dials and switches fixed. “You don’t happen to have any extra dials and such, do you?” Thesa scooted out from under the panel and pulled out the disconnected and broken knobs and dials from on top the panel.

@ElderGod-Icefire

He nodded. "Ah. No, not on me I don't." He said. "Back on the Daedalus I do. Do you want me to get them? And if so, what type and size?" He asked, and continued working on the wiring in front of him.

@gracehustle

Thesa looked at the plastic and metal bits in her hand and shrugged, “This size?” She held them out to him and counted how many she needed, “And I’ll need about….eleven for this panel? Might need more for the other set of dials.” For as much as she worked on her ship, she knew nothing about sizes of the smaller parts. She really just guess and hoped it worked. If it didn’t, she would get it to, some way or another.

@ElderGod-Icefire

He looked, and nodded. "Eleven, size five point two five." He said, giving a quick nodded, and heading into the Daedalus. He headed to the engineering room, and located the parts he needed, then made his way back. He set the dials down, carefully making sure they all stayed in one spot. "Here." He said with a small smile.

@gracehustle

“Thanks,” She replied, smiling slightly at him as she scooped the pieces into her hand and set the other ones down. Careful not to bump anything, she set the pieces in their spots and made sure they all fit before sliding back under the panel to reattach all the wires that were still good. With Zev to help, repairs were going good and they were getting through things quickly, hopefully quick enough that they would get back to a planet before anyone came and investigated the crash.

@ElderGod-Icefire

Zev nodded, and started helping with the wiring and dials again, silent. In profile, he still didn't look like the typical Android. He didn't have that perfectly proportioned face most had. His had the same slight irregularities that a humans might have.

@gracehustle

Softly, she counted to herself as she reattached the wires. It was just something to pass the time that she had discovered, something she did for fun. When she got to eleven she stood up again and smiled, checking all the newly fixed dials and smiling wider when the were all in right. She glanced over at him and found herself studying him, noting how human he looked, so unlike the androids she was familiar with.
