A creative writing club at a small highschool in the middle of nowhere. A bunch of queerdos trying to fit in or, perhaps, escape. And a murderous vampire out for revenge.

A group of queer teens trying to escape reality form a creative writing club in their homophobic hometown, but there’s a darkness lurking in this town. The townspeople are dropping like flies, and if anyone is going to stop it, it’ll be this group.

Ultimately this is going to be less mystery and more murder, with a bit of a gay scooby doo but with more magic and death involved vibe. Rules and templates are below:

Rules:

Don’t be a dick (at least, your character can if it’s relevant but don’t do shit to anyone else irl). Don’t be bigoted. That’s all that really matters to me!
Normal humans only, please! Magic does exist in this world but for the time being our characters won’t have access to it.
Sexually explicit content is forbidden. Be as risqué as you want, but don’t let someone’s whole ass be hanging out like Winnie the Pooh if you feel me. Genitals being shown is an automatic boot out, I’ll allow discussion of a lot of shit but explicit sex scenes can go elsewhere if you really need to let off steam. I totally get wanting to write spicy stuff, I write it a lot as well, but this isn’t the place.
NO GRAPHIC SUICIDE SCENES. This is not the place for the edgy twelve year olds of the world to write about how dark and dreary things are and I’ve had far too many roleplays end because someone triggered me or someone else badly enough to delete my or their account (trust me, don’t go on Tumblr for the roleplays). Discussing that stuff even in rp is fine but I’m not going to deal with people playing around with serious issues like they’re tennis balls and honestly, suicide scenes trigger me hardcore and I’m not going to have that here.
On that note, list your triggers. This is going to be a fairly dark roleplay with lots of death and gore but I still want to make this a safe space. We go on a traffic light system, seen below:
Red: hard no, full stop, don’t write about this. This is not something I can handle hearing or writing about.
Yellow: I don’t feel too comfy with this but I’ll tolerate it in moderation.
Green: I have zero issues with writing about this. This is an ok subject to deal with.

Physical Appearance: Tall, with hair just brushing her shoulders and a sharp face, Samantha doesn’t pass super well as femme and doesn’t try to given her life circumstances. Her complexion is fairly tanned, with farm girl freckles and blonde hair the color of straw. She has a broad frame, brown eyes, and is overall very well suited to life outdoors. However, she always feels far too masculine and hates her appearance.
Wardrobe: Usually just overalls over a hoodie, with old beat up vans torn from ages of skateboarding and hiking through the woods that barely hold together on her feet and low-cut socks in bright colors as a small rebellious act against her assumed and unwanted duty of masculinity.
Personality: Very, very gentle and extremely kind, overall just a gentle giant kinda girl. She’s just a big sweetheart that loves animals and loves nature and is overall just kinda happy to help anyone who needs it.

Physical Appearance: Short, chubby with a decent amount of muscle underneath, with curly hair that is constantly being dyed with different streaks of color to the point that Claudia has had to shave it down thrice to get rid of the breakage. Claudia has beautiful brown eyes with flecks of gold, their complexion is a light brown and with a small beauty mark/mole on their upper lip.
Wardrobe: Dresses as a combination of punk and cybergoth.
Personality: Very loud and proud of who they are, but aren’t out as nonbinary to anyone but Samantha as to keep a low profile on her and prevent Samantha’s parents from finding out that she’s trans and so are they. Protective over Samantha as she’s their longest standing friend since preschool, and they don’t want to lose her and don’t want anything bad to happen to her.

Physical Appearance: Raine has warm hazel eyes with permanent dark circles under them and he also has soft, messy, and wavy hair that reaches his shoulders. It's a dark chestnut brown with a singular turquoise streak in it; he normally wears his hair up in a low ponytail although if he's comfortable around someone then he'll wear it down. Raine is cursed to be short for all of eternity, standing exactly 5'. He has a lean build and has an almond skin tone.
Wardrobe: They do their best to look androgynous, and their wardrobe mainly consists of dull-colored oversized hoodies, faded jeans, and a pair of Doc Martens that are on life support, but when they're feeling comfortable around people then they start wearing colorful flannels, sweaters/cardigans, basically whatever they feel like would express themself as opposed to hiding
Personality: He's very observant and reserved, but that's only because being deadnamed and misgendered 24/7 has taken its toll on him and he'd rather be lonely than have another gender dysphoria attack. He does want to meet people and he listens in on the conversations of the others around him constantly, wanting to jump in and say something but too afraid to face rejection or hostility. He's an incredibly sweet, loving, and loyal person, and when he opens up he becomes very talkative and animated.

Background: His father went to get the milk 10 years ago and still hasn't come back, and it didn't take long for his mother to become an abusive alcoholic, taking out her misplaced anger on Raine and Esmerelda. Once she was old enough, Esmerelda finally convinced their mother to surrender custody of Raine so she could be his legal guardian. His mother surprisingly agreed and soon enough he and Esme moved into a comfortable small 2-bedroom apartment in a nice neighborhood. Raine had never come out to his sister, and his sister had never mentioned anything; she has some suspicions that Raine isn't cisgender, but she doesn't push him to say or do anything. All she does is offer support whenever she can, and he appreciates what she does greatly.
Fun Fact(s): Suffers from gender dysphoria and social anxiety, but manage as best as they can, hella smart but focus a lot of their brainpower on subjects they're interested in, which is why they're barely passing math, but they are knowledgable over all sorts of other things, so that makes up for it. They also have no filter whatsoever once they become sleep-deprived enough, either resulting in bursts of passionate tangents about random topics or a lot of 'that's what she said' jokes
Other: They have a big fluffy Maine Coon named Post Meowlone (Esme named him; Raine had no say in it) and he is Raine's emotional support animal.

I will say this, these two have a lot of very concerning topics about them that may be triggering to some. I've avoided meantioning most of it, save SH scars and an ED.

Basic Personality (descriptive terms, such as "calm" and "kind" can work instead of a full personality description): The only people the twins are truly comfortable with are each other. By nature and nurture, they're very antisocial and don't have any friends outside of the creative writing club, which the school forced them to join. By default, they hang onto each other and don't leave each other's sights for more than a minute at a time, due to. . . well, a lot of reasons; they can't function the best if they aren't within each other's lines of sight. They rarely speak except to ask the leader of the club questions about scheduling or trips. They smile more than anyone else they know, though, because if they're smiling and getting along nothing will happen, not like before at their old home. However, the twins do have some differences. They both love music, and sing along to any song, albeit quietly. They've actually gone on stage a grand total of one time, for a club activity, and their duet was incredible.
Ji-Hae: Less likely to speak, less often noticed; does a lot more art than writing during the day and during club hours. Less likely to step into an argument, though if it's about their sibling they will step in.
Ji-Hye: More likely to confront people than Ji-Hae, especially in regards to their sibling. Writes more than they draw. More noticed than their sibling since they make their presence more known.

Physical Appearance: Salem fits very well into his name. He has fluffy, uncontrollable black hair. He has two braids neatly tucked behind his left ear and a red string woven into his hair tucked behind his ear on the right. The rest of his hair is pulled up into a wild ponytail with some stubborn pieces of hair falling to frame his face with a couple white streaks through it. He has tanned, honey skin that is absolutely covered in tattoos that he got the moment he turned 18. His favorite is the tree of life tattooed onto his back. He has a full sleeve of sakura trees tattooed on his right side, and he's currently working on tattoos on the left side, but he's still figuring that one out. Most likely going to be snake vertebrae and something to do with death and life being a cycle. Salem has stormy grey eyes that are usually lined with eyeliner sharp enough to cut a bitch. He's a tall motherfuck, about 6'2 in height and built strong (I fucking love him to bits but the best way to describe him is that he looks like a fucking Dorito). He has a ton of piercings. Personality: Salem comes off as a bit rough around the edges, cold, and tends to keep on the silent side. However, around friends he's a complete- I guess the right way to put it is the "mum" (not necessarily gendered) friend. He frets over his friends, carries a bag that usually has everything a person could need in it. He remembers tidbits about friends and makes sure to always remember what they like, dislike, birthdays, etc. He's a genuine, trusting person once you get around that rough exterior. He's a little bit of a nerd, going on about his favorite plants, he will show you the cool rocks/skeletons/crystals/shiny things that he has found scavenging around. He's a silly, goofy individual once you get to know him. Just a giant fucking teddy bear and SUPER chill.

Background: Salem was born into a loving family. His mother, a Japanese woman named Hikari married his father and had him. The only thing he got from his father is his height. Everything else is based off his mother. Salem is a spitting image of his mother. He was an only child until the age of 6, when his mother had his little sister, Isolde, who is a spitting image of her father. Anyways, Salem had a pretty normal childhood, until his teen years. Uhmmmmm he doesn't talk about those. Good luck getting anything out of him.
