Colton blinked, “B-Because I can care. What are you doing with him anyway? If you’re not kidnapping then why drag him into an alleyway and knock him out?” He crossed his arms.
Colton blinked, “B-Because I can care. What are you doing with him anyway? If you’re not kidnapping then why drag him into an alleyway and knock him out?” He crossed his arms.
"It's none of your business, kid. Now leave before I knock you out too." He threatened, still glaring at the man.
“It is my business because I was trying to flirt with him and he ran off for this!” Colton frowned.
Jeremiah stirred a little, trying to figure out why his head hurt so much. "I don't give a damn if you were flirting with him." The man growled, glancing at Jeremiah and realizing he was starting to wake up. "Look, I really have to go so are you going to leave or do I have to knock you out too?"
“You’re gonna have to knock me out too.” Colton narrowed his eyes at him and tried to feign confidence, “I’m not leaving him.”
The man sighed annoyingly as he set Jeremiah against a wall and took out the rod he used to knock out Jeremiah, there were flecks of blood here and there from other people. He swung the rod at Cole's head, wanting to get this over with.
Colton stumbled back a few steps once he was hit. His head throbbed with pain and he could see black spots in his vision. He soon collapsed.
Jeremiah had fully woken up but his head was still throbbing painfully as he stayed where he was. The man sighed in relief as he looked at Jeremiah, hitting him in the head again and making him lose consciousness once again. He left Cole there as he picked up Jeremiah and went to where he was going to go.
Cole stayed in the dark alleyway for about twenty minutes as he’d been hit pretty hard. Once he awoke, he awoke with a groan and a throbbing headache. He clutched the wall as he stood shakily, his mind processing what had just happened,
Jeremiah's eyes fluttered open as he looked around, he was shoved into a corner of a dark room. Carter was in the middle and a different man was in front of her, holding a knife to her throat. "S-Stop!" He yelled loudly, trying to get up but realizing his hands and feet were tied together.
Jeremiah. What the hell was happening to him right now? He walked towards the road to find any clues that might lead him to the other boys where a-bouts.
"Took you long enough to wake up." The man replied, walking over to Jeremiah and grabbing his face roughly to look over it. Jeremiah winced slightly as he looked at the man's face, recognizing it was John, the man who had dated Carter when they were 13.
Colton walked over to the road and found tire marks lying on the street. It was a good of clue then any so he began to follow them. He kept checking his phone and the time, knowing he should be heading home but decided against it.
"What do you want from us, John?" Jeremiah questioned, trying to find something to cut the rope with. After a few moments of his hands groping the floor behind him, he felt a piece of glass. He immediately picked it up and began to cut the rope, wincing when he accidentlly cut himself, but he kept going.
It didn’t take long for the tire marks to lead Colton to an old building. He swallowed a lump in his thoat before trying to find an open window or an easy door to climb through. He eventually found a door missing and crawled through that quietly.
Jeremiah finally managed to cut the ropes but didn't dare let go of the piece of glass or move his hands. At least not until John had turned over and headed to Carter. He then quietly stood up, glancing at his wrists which were bloody, before walking behind John. "Hmm, you want to hear about something that's going to be on the news tomorrow?" John asked, a small smile on his face as he looked at Carter, even though he knew Jeremiah was behind him. "Ladies and Gentlemen, we have found shocking news that says that says Jeremiah Carter is a murderer. He had killed John Cook, a innocent man who had dated his twin sister named Carter when they were 13. Now he is currently on the run and we want to warn the citizens to look out for him and call the police if you ever see him."
Colton’s eyes widened in shook. Quickly hiding behind a pillar where he could see and hear the scene unfolding in front of him. Did this guy forget to take his meds or something? Why would you want to frame someone for murder but then again he was insane.
"And-oh-I've just found out that John had managed to escape. Also, he had killed Jeremiah and Carter so we're guess. Sorry for scaring you before." John finished, turning around and smiling mischievously at Jeremiah. "How does that sound?" He asked. Jeremiah just stood where he was, not sure what to do at all.
Colton knocked a box over, just enough to be a distraction from whoever this John guy was. Come on you asshole, come over here. He hoped Jeremiah had enough time to get his sister out.
Jeremiah looked up when he heard a box fall over and saw the man from before. "C-Cole? What are you doing here?" He asked. John also looked up and saw Colton. "Who the hell are you?"
“Well, I was curious as to where you went in such a worried state and uh, saw you get knocked out so I couldn’t just leave you with this maniac.” Cole shrugged.
"I-But-What? I am a mere stranger to you," Jeremiah quickly sputtered out. John sighed annoyingly. "I don't give a shit who he is to you, make him leave before I slit his throat." He told Jeremiah quietly.
"Yeah well, I'm a nice person when I want to be, plus you're cute and seem to have a cool personality so," Cole shrugged a shoulder, slipping his hands in his pockets, "Am I not allowed to help?"
(Kyle…?)
Jeremiah's face flushed slightly at the compliment. "N-No, you can't help. I don't want you getting hurt because of me," He quickly stuttered out, glancing at John to make sure he wasn't going to do anything to Cole or Carter.
(Whoops, brain is still waking up, sorry)
Again, Cole shrugged, "I've been hurt enough to handle it I'm sure," He sighed, "What even is going on here in the first place?"
