Seon let his consciousness melt away for a few wonderful seconds, lulled by the river soaking their pants through, and by the feeling of Wyn's lips on his. Despite being more experienced in the whole debacle, it gave him a flattery feeling like no other, standing there arm in arm with Wyn. Seon resisted the urge to bite on Wyn's lip as he pulled away, following a couple inches to keep them breathlessly closer.
"Sure you are, Wyn," Seon whispered back, eyes half-opening again, still chasing Wyn to keep the kiss going. "You do perfectly fine. Of course there are a few tricks I can teach you, but I imagine those are for later." His low laugh matched Wyn's, tickling the air around them. He delicately took the Fae's lip in his teeth giving a little nibble before drawing Wyn closer to his chest, tilting his head and leading this next kiss. It was equally as passionate, but joined with Seon's nibbling teeth and active tongue to keep the tension and energy around them alive. The moon herself fueled this endeavor, looking down on the pair as Seon filled himself with this satisfying feeling, like a good bowl of soup.
Funny, how the closeness of before had driven Wyn mad, clutching at his heart and yanking him down into a pit of awe-induced panic. But now they stood even closer, sharing each breath and wanting even closer. His smile tipped upwards even more as Seon nudged his way forward, bringing their lips to a touch and not yet a kiss. "I can't wait," he purred, just in time for his lips to be captured in a gentle cage of teeth and his head tilted into a much smoother kiss than the one he initiated.
Wyn's eyes closed when he felt that additional something, drawing a hot spike of surprise and passion from him. The hand on Seon's neck tightening for half a second and a little squeak of a noise worked together and exposed his surprise and reaction to the new sensations. He didn't pull away, though, even if his heartbeat kicked up a notch. Wyn refused to panic and compromise this perfect moment. Cautiously, he opened himself up to Seon's advances, letting the God take the lead and get their fill while Wyn followed along, only acting when he felt confident he knew how to properly respond; and even then, his own advances remained hesitant.
Seon didn't take it must have farther than that, pulling away after what felt like hours, but that time flooding through as easy as a relaxed breeze. Seon licked his moist lips with his delicate purpleish tongue, breaking strings of spit clinging to them and still connecting their thin lips.
"Are you alright?" Seon finally spoke again, opening his eyes and drawing Wyn closer to his chest with a smile. "I hope I didn't make you uncomfortable." Seeing how Wyn didn't respond with the same passion he had before, seemed to have concerned the God. "I'd like nothing but for you to enjoy yourself and be comfortable with me." Seon straightened his head and pressed a kiss to Wyn's forehead, leaving a little wet mark. "If anything I try surprises you… ah, just let me know." For once, Seon flushed a little in his haste, raising a hand to rub at the point of his hooked nose. Dustings of dark blue spread across his cheeks till the tips of his long ears, and a grin passed over his face as he realized what he did.
"Sometimes I honestly can't handle myself. Don't hesitate to tell me. Please. Just push me off or something." His tone steadily got more self-depricating and shy, especially as his more dark thoughts returned to plague him.
Wyn tried reorienting himself while Seon rambled, and also listened to Seon's concerns with a mixture of amusement, happiness, and heartbreak. Slowly, so as to not startle the anxious God, he grabbed their chin with the tips of his fingers and brought them down for a slow and brief kiss. "Looks like I'm no longer the only one blushing," he murmured against their lips, then grew serious as he looped his arms around Seon's neck and pressed his body flush against theirs. "Astra, my sweet, you did nothing wrong. I'm perfectly okay with you taking further steps, even if it surprises me. Just because I don't expect it doesn't mean I don't like it." Wyn kept his eyes on the God's to cement his declarations. "Had that been the case, we'd be having a much different conversation."
He didn't want Seon thinking that Wyn would let him be pressured into anything he didn't like. Regardless of his infatuation, the Fae knew how to be firm about his wants and boundaries. Seon had yet to cross any without being made aware of it. And Wyn certainly didn't want them being so distraught over the possibility, to the point of being self-deprecating. Wyn, with a small smile, grabbed Seon's cheeks and brought their head down for a returned kiss to the forehead, soft and gentle fingers curling over their skin. "You were perfect."
Seon grinned, admitting more relief on his face than he'd ever vocalize.
"Good, I didn't want to subject you to such discomfort. I'll be sure to tell you the best I can though." Seon's grip shifted on Wyn's waist, his second hand falling to wrap around him as well. Their heart still thrummed wildly in his chest, and as Wyn drew closer into a hug, then after the forehead kiss, a little dopey grin crossed his face. It wasn't often Seon (reminder: a God), was red in the face and grinning like a kid on Christmas. The compliments really tickled him, and Seon attempted to hide as such by tucking himself in on Wyn shoulders, the heat able to be felt on the soft skin of the Fae.
"Perfect is a strong word," Seon managed to mumble, and it would be even more of a feat if Wyn heard him. "I honestly doubt I was all that good, but I'm glad you enjoyed it." He giggled and drew away, shaking his head.
Seeing Seon happy and giddy—and red in the face while Wyn wasn't—made Wyn feel his heart was clawing its way through his chest to present itself to the God, if only to make them even happier. He laughed and held Seon against his neck and shoulder, turning to kiss the side of their head while smiling. As Seon pulled away, Wyn kept him close with linked hands over their neck, and pressed a smiling kiss to the base of his throat. "You're perfect to me," he promised against Seon's skin, drawing back a fraction to stare up at the God.
The Fae's golden eyes seemed to sparkle, a response purely from seeing his God genuinely and uncontrollably happy for once. Their embarrassment shown as well, clear as a crystal in the moonlight, and it only sparked a fire in Wyn's belly. He had done that, somehow. Not a bad embarrassed, but a result of his little compliments. It stoked the dying embers of his ego, coaxing forth a future inferno that would someday burn blazing. For now, though, the little embers glowed through his eyes and happy-pink cheeks.
Wyn glanced around them, then went right back to staring at Seon. "I can see what you mean. With this river."
Seon hid behind his hands, drawing his hands from around Wyn's waist and covering his warn cheeks. In fact, they grew even warmer at Wyn's second comment, which acted as its own metaphorical smackdown. He honestly didn't think there was anything else he could do other than stand there with his face in his hands, peeking over his long fingers to meet those rather bright eyes. Was Wyn smirking at him? Ah, such a hypocritical… Existence to live for the God. Especially after commenting several times on Wyn's own warm cheeks…
"Yeah, yes, this river is fantastic," Seon whispered into his palms, moving against Wyn and bumping his lesser weight into the Fae. "We should keep moving. This was wonderful. Thank you, I um…" He laughed at himself, unable to hold it back, shaking his head. "I enjoy that smirk you have on your face. I can smell the smugness off of you." Seon giggled again, squeezing his face between his fingers. "Not that I blame you. Goodness, you've done nothing but break me down. In the good way."
Wyn most definitely had a smirk on his face, which only grew when Seon hid his face in his hands. The giddy Fae took his turn to hold the God around their waist, lightly grabbing at his sides and tugging him right against his body with a smug grin. He loved this. He loved being able to break a very real God down with just his words, words born from sincerity and intended comfort. He had never thought himself as good with words. Not in any sense, and certainly not in the romantic sense. This counted as a surprising win, and he intended to milk every last drop of victory.
Wordlessly, he tugged Seon towards the bank, walking backwards but keeping an eye on his steps and making sure Seon wouldn't slip. Thankfully, it didn't take long, and he found a slope up towards land instead of a drop. Once they were safely on land, Wyn gently pried Seon's hands from his face, fingers delicately curling through theirs and holding them to his chest. That self-satisfied smirk had made itself at home on his lips, and it didn't melt at all. "You're so cute," he sang, leaning forward to kiss each of the God's burning cheeks. Then his lips hovered just out of reach of Seon's, barely a hair's breadth apart and sporting that open-mouthed smirk once more. Glowing yellow stared up at Seon. Perhaps a dare, perhaps a question, or simply Wyn being a tease to drink from the warm goblet of an embarrassed God.
Seon allowed Wyn to lead him, feet slipping on each rock and onto solid ground. Both of their clothes now dripping silvery drops that sunk into the ground around them.
As Wyn pried his hands off of his face and held them, daring to bring them closer, Seon decided to believe that Wyn was asking for more. That undeniable smirk, the thoughts shining behind his topaz eyes. Seon drew a path along Wyn's chest, curling around his neck and cupping it, holding their faces even closer. It was a stupid bargain with how badly he wanted to hide and not show his blush anymore, but Seon couldn't resist a challenge as blatant as that. After all, he was the God, and Wyn the learning pupil. So Seon drew Wyn in again for a cleaner start to their intimate kiss, meeting that challenge head on and fiercer, taking Wyn's words to heart. Seon wasn't going all in like he could and almost did a few moments prior– no, even Wyn knew that. Embarrassed and resolved into himself, legs tucked adjacent to his long body, Seon focused on drawing that smirk off of his face. But… Would Wyn need the whole act of confidence?
His grin brightened as Seon moved, body moving easily with the God's minute demands. What was this, the fifth time they've kissed now? Sixth? Counting now seemed pointless with how easily he could ask for one. But while the kids felt nice, as it always did, it lacked a certain… fire. The passion was there just as before, but the desire for revenge, the answer to his challenge he had hoped for fell flat, and in his fit of giddy confidence, he couldn't ignore it.
Wyn responded to the kiss, of course. Head tilted, eyes closed, and lips moving against Seon's with a little more practice behind them. But after a moment, he pulled away and arched an unimpressed brow up at the God. "That's all?" Wyn taunted, then completely flew out of his typical character and continued in a low purr. "Here I thought that challenging and breaking down a God would earn me quite the scale of revenge. Seems as though I was mistaken. Pity." The Fae tipped his head to the side, as if thinking, while his eyes never strayed from Seon's and his lips pulled back into that smirk Seon wanted to erase. "I should be breathless and unable to think of anything but you. I should be the one left a mess, all because of you." His hands slid back down to grip the God's sides once more. "Can you do that?"
Seon opened his eyes and even drew back a little to listen to Wyn, curious and almost confused eyes drawn into those smug ones. It finally clicked, resonated within him. A shift of hands, one connecting to Wyn's ear and cheek, the other wrapping around his hips and holding slightly lower than the small of his back. One leg stepped forwards and through the other's legs, supporting his weight and imposing his larger stature over Wyn, seconds away from rejoining into a kiss.
"You challenge me as if I will not give you the results you want. I'd like you to realize that I know a lot more than you think," Seon purred softly, his second hand drawing away to take a handful of cheek, just below his other hand. With a tilt of his head and a rush of energy, he snapped back into a more intense, dominant kiss, making sure to have the taste of revenge rich in his lips. Seon kissed for as long as he thought necessary, squeezing and massaging wherever that sneaky hand found, bodies flushed to each other, breaths barely being caught between movements of tongue and mouth.
Oh.
Wyn hardly had time to settle into that brief realization before an all-consuming wave of feeling crashed down over him, wearing the face of Seon. His veins filled with liquid fire and scorched wherever those sneaky hands touched him. His legs locked and wobbled at the same time, forcing him to take a single step back to gather his balance. At this point it wasn't even just about the kiss—though it, too, cut the legs of his world in half and sent him tumbling. It was about the suffocating intensity and heart-stuttering dominance, spiced with just enough delicious revenge to make his blood all the more hotter. It was the leg between his, dangerously close.
A small but highly embarrassing noise bubbled up and let loose during one of the very short periods where they could catch a single breath. Wyn likely couldn't get anymore flush than he already was, but it felt like his face became red hot. I had asked for this, he reasoned, even as he was torn apart in the best way possible. This is completely on me.
Seon held fast on Wyn, not silent either on his uptake of breaths. He intended to stop, he really did, but the warring faction between them, the hungry desire gripping their animalistic tendancies basically glued Seon to Wyn. Lips shivered as their exhaustion from being used in such a dominant manner took over the muscles, but Seon paid no mind. The only thing slightly annoying about it was his inability to hold back his audible gasps of breathlessness and other quiet noises betraying his absolute enjoyment. Such feelings would be uncouth of a God to admit; to admit the heart thrumming in the chest like a trapped bird, admit the hot warmth overcoming his face and neck, burning his ears in that just right sting he hadn't felt in much too long. It was the greatest drug, to be engaging in such nefarious acts with such a gentle creature as Wyn.
This thought earned another squeeze from Seon's hands, breath slurring in his throat and letting out his own embarrassing noise, uncontrollable from the base of his chest.
As much as he wanted to go on after that, he absolutely could not. He pulled away, panting with warm breaths leaning his head away so he didn't blatantly breathe all over Wyn's mouth.
He just couldn't help it.
Wyn melted into Seon, hands sliding up their body to subtly feel up the God. He had a feeling his lips would be bruised by the end of this, and he did not mind in the slightest. Gods, had he been missing out for most of his life? Is this what everyone talked about and urged him to do? Wyn briefly regretted not finding a temporary partner, but when a waft of a scent of pure Seon, he was reminded of why.
Had he been with someone other than his God, he wouldn't want to do this. He wouldn't be enjoying this. Really, Wyn wouldn't be in this situation in the first place. The more he thought about it, the more Wyn came to the realization he'd only be willing to do anything close to this with Seon. With that thought, as Seon finally pulled away and allowed the two of them to properly breathe for the first time, Wyn pressed their cheeks together and smiled like a blushing idiot. "Okay, I deserved that." Quickly, he dipped his head and gave Seon a tiny peck, completely at odds with the dominating kiss Seon had subjected him to, but it was all he could bring himself to do while he could barely breathe and his heart was racing. His hands roamed around Seon's chest and torso, nails sometimes scratching against the fabric, and he arched his body into Seon's to keep them as close as possible. Another quick kiss. "I loved it, mind you." His eyes scanned Seon's face, a soft smile settling over his features. "Looks like you did too."
Seon focused on himself for a few moments, chest heaving softly under Wyn's fingers, ridges of bones and ribs making hills for the delicate tips to run over. A little shiver ran up his spine as those fingers ran over certain parts, sending a shockwave of surprised energy, finding accidental spots Seon loved being touched.
They turned their head a bit farther as Wyn recovered a little, taking in those extra small kisses with small grins. The touches to his chest and torso were arguably making him more breathless than he expected, his heart still pounding in his head and his blood rushing unexpectedly through his ears down to the tips of his own shivering fingers.
"I'm glad you did. It was… excellent." A bigger crossed between his ears, returning the small kiss to his lips in earnest. "I refuse to believe that is what I needed, but somehow I know deep down I was longing for it. It had been quite some time since I was touched like… This. Of course, not that it's a bad thing. It has never felt like this. You make the blood rush so much better than normal." He lifted his hands through Wyn's wandering arms, observing their shaky nature and glancing up to meet his dancing yellow eyes. "I would like to do this more often. I like it quite a lot." His voice was hushed and low, as if someone other than Wyn and the forest were going to hear it.
Was that a shiver? Wyn paused and leaned back a fraction to survey Seon, confused and curious. Slowly, he ghosted his fingers over Seon's ribs, lightly tugging at their shirt while nudging himself back against their body. This is where he belonged, he knew. Right here, by Seon's side—pressed against his body, experiencing the reactions to his effortless words and actions—is where Wyn intended to stand for quite some time while he could. And with this destiny looming over them and promising a long time traveling together, he knew deep in his heart that they'd be together for a long time. Hope really was a lethal thing.
Wyn sighed happily and kissed Seon's jaw. "We will have plenty of time to do this, and much more, on the journey ahead." He nosed his way into Seon's neck, happy to be there, surrounded by the God's scent and warmth while leaning against their chest with his hands curled up between them. "I like doing this too," he admitted, muffled voice and hot breath skittering over the God's neck and shoulder. "I've never… This is all new to me. Even just kissing is uncharted territory—well, for the most part. But I really like this, and am open to doing more at some point." One more absentminded kiss to the skin in his proximity. "If you need this again, just ask."
Another slow shiver, felt now by the breadth of Wyn's body as they pressed together again, almost plainly obvious by the alerted Wyn.
"Ah– yes you're right," Seon agreed, half-closing his eyes. He was hardly paying attention, too focused on trying to muffle the shivers the best he could, swaying on his own two feet, now weak to the weight about to come crashing down.
"Asking for such things is out of my ability to function my dear," Seon protested after a bit, shaking his head to get his wits together and looking back down on Wyn. "But whenever some point is for you, I wouldn't mind it at all." Seon grinned affectionately, yet not without another escaped shiver that touched on his spine and through his head. The breaths of hot air and the touches Wyn is delivering made Seon giddy with the almost ticklish sensations. A hand rose and curled around Wyn's shoulders again nevertheless, pulling the Fae close for a hug, pushing his nose into their neck, and their hands drawing together.
A slow grin spread over Wyn's lips when he found that little sweet spot on Seon's body. He took note of it for later use and closed his eyes while melting into Seon's embrace, arms wrapping around the God's waist in his own hug. He'd save them from his gentle assault—for now. Right now, he kept his face pressed into Seon's neck, breathing in his scent and bathing in the comfort. Wyn was still winding down from their highly intimate and passionate moment, but this equally as intimate moment satisfied his lingering cravings.
You'll learn, Wyn silently promised with a sweet kiss to Seon's throat. He wouldn't push Seon to ask Wyn for things such as that, even if he knew they'd likely both want it. He learned just now that they weren't up to asking for what they wanted, which he was okay with. They could work on that. For now, Wyn simply felt happy knowing that Seon liked him enough to be affected so much, and to seek out so much affection from him. He tightened his grip and let Seon hold most of his weight while bashfully muttering, "I like you. I like this. And as we get to know each other better, and learn more about one another, I know I'll enjoy every moment of it, and I hope you will as well. I don't want you to feel obligated to pretend for the sake of my juvenile feelings."
Seon ran his hands down Wyn's back and held him close with a big hug, setting his head down against Wyn's head, half-closing his eyes. It was a sweet spot indeed, so much so that he felt the need to muffle the move itself before Seon lost his head to it.
The God was silent in his enjoyment as he listened to Wyn speak, rubbing the small of his back and holding him intimately close. "I like this too," Seon rumbled equally as softly. "There is something enjoyable I get from these moments. But they feel better with you. They feel as if I am truly with someone. I like that feeling a lot. I do not pretend in such regards; while I have before, I couldn't bring myself to do such a horrid thing so early in this intimate life. I like it." He leaned away, pressing a kiss to Wyn's head. "We should keep moving, though. The night will get restless." Seon smiled and took Wyn's hand. "I like this a lot. I feel like this is something we both can enjoy together if we work hard at it. Please don't hesitate to tell me if you want to try something. I'll most likely be okay to do what you want."
"Mm." Wyn nodded in agreement while trying not to pout at the lack of comfort and warmth. He knew they needed to leave, and was just about to suggest it, but that didn't stop him from not liking the fact. It forced him out of their arms, and him out of Wyn's arms, and brought the reality of their situation back to life. With a sigh, he tugged Seon over to his discarded bag to grab it, then slung it over his shoulder and tipped his head towards where they needed to go. "Canoodling can wait, fortunately. The sun won't, alas."
Finally, Seon's words properly registered, and Wyn's brows twitched together as he glanced up at the God. He couldn't avoid the subject anymore—Seon had been with someone before him. And from the sounds of it, they hadn't been too kind to his God. Wyn wasn't pleased with that idea at all, and he desperately hoped he was wrong. Maybe it simply hadn't been as intense as their relationship was starting out as. Maybe Wyn could be cocky and say it was him that made it seem better. Anything but his sneaking suspicions. Seon didn't deserve to be treated any less than what Wyn was giving. As if in a silent declaration, he squeezed Seon's hand and stayed close to their side, refusing to leave them feeling less than him in any way.
Seon didn't seem to pay any mind to Wyn's shift in emotion. This had simply been his life and history of keeping up with what other people wanted from him. He had a slight grin remaining on his face as they got their things back together and continued walking along the banks of the river, against the tide and steadily softening moonlight as it sank under the tree canopy.
Walking in silence returned once more, feet crunching over rocks and roots. Seon had nothing to say, for once in his life. He focused on the path ahead, eyes bright and focused unlike how it was just ten minutes earlier. Wyn had breathed a new type of emotion into Seon, chasing away everything else and replacing it with a comfortable sense of confidence and homliness found in his previous childhood friend, and now a true lover. Seon would never openly admit it, but Wyn very much had stolen his heart like no other before. He was so focused on this fact that he hardly noticed the slight fuzz of eyebrows of Wyn, deep in his own thoughts. In fact, he barely noticed anything.
Wyn brought the back of Seon's hand up to his lips to press a chaste kiss there, still thinking. He knew thinking would get him nowhere, and would only send him into a downwards spiral that would sour his mood. He didn't want that, not after the riveting and lively interaction he and Seon just had together. So Wyn dropped the subject and let himself bring back the sensations and emotions brought on by that impromptu moment.
They had started out with Wyn being incredibly intimidated and flustered by the beautiful God. That intimidation quickly turned into infatuation, and that only amplified the flustered state he fell into at the littlest bits of attention. He had fantasied about having Seon at his side as more than just a God and pupil, but never expected it to happen. Little did he know everything would lead to this right here. Wyn forgot to be wary of the journey ahead. He forgot his usual worries whenever he went out on a trip, and he attributed that to the reassurance Seon's presence brought. He wasn't alone. He could shoulder things with another. He could face the upcoming battles with confidence.
Seon kept walking in their silence, holding hands and brushing shoulders. He led the way as Wyn focused on his own thing, occasionally glancing across the river or shivering at a cold gust of nippy wind.
This same wind steadily grew warmer, touched by the gentle fingers of a rising sun. It still held the same quality of cold unknowing gusts, as if the mountain itself was suggesting that they turn back. The sun slowly coming through the trees told otherwise, throwing long rays onto the passing Fae. Seon's skin glowed and those white patterns for tattoos gleamed on his face and chest.
"Perhaps we should stop here for the day," Seon's light voice suggested as they came to a spot that was extra dense because of the trees. A shady blanket for the yawning God and his lover. Seon pulled Wyn over and sat down next to a thicket of welcoming ferns and rushing blue water. Seon yawned once again, settling down into a seated position, looking up expectantly at Wyn. "I will make us a safe place to sleep for the day. There isn't much out here, as the river's might scares most. But it is nice to ensure our privacy."
Wyn blinked blearily up at Seon, mind teetering on the edge of exhaustion and wakefulness. He muttered a noncommittal mumble of agreeable and allowed himself to be tugged over to the shaded area. Seon's expectant gaze pulled him into a gentle tumble down between the god's legs. Before getting comfortable, though, he dropped his bag off to the side and unstrapped the corset, taking the closed quiver and hidden daggers with it. Next came the cloak and bow, in that order. Then Wyn carefully unstrapped his sword's sheath, still slung over his hip. Using the cloak as a cover, he stuffed everything on top of that sword and covered everything else with it. Only then did he fall back into the God's chest and close his eyes, heaving a heavy sigh.
After a moment, his hand crept up and hooked around the back of Seon's neck. No particular reason besides simply wanting to hold him. He wanted to bring up the thoughts plaguing his mind, but wasn't sure how to do so. "You're warm," Wyn whispered instead, turning his body a little to curl up against the God. His hand slipped back down to join the other in wrapping his arms around Seon's waist while he nuzzled into their chest. "And comfortable."
Seon observed this process thoughtfully, curious about the whole process Wyn walked himself through in order to take his traveling gear off. Seon didn't offer to help, wondering if it was smart to even interfere with such an intent process. Had Wyn gone through traveling in long distances before?
After leaning back with Wyn and wrapping an arm around his hips, he pressed a gentle kiss to his forehead and leaned his head down farther to tuck between Wyn's head and shoulder, using it as a protective covering to his sensitive skin.
"You are as well," Seon murmured back, curling his hands up at the base of Wyn's tummy, still warm and slightly irritated from walking in a corsage. He was a few moments away from claiming that same warmth in his unconscious, the sleepy Fae being pulled closer every few seconds higher onto his lap. "I imagine we will have to lie down at some point, but ah… Sometimes it is too comfortable to just sit up against a tree with someone else. My back will tell me all about the consequences tomorrow, rest assured. As long as you are comfortable though…"
