Tenma mumbled something under his breath before brushing passed someone,
"Watch it!" he snapped.
In front of his stood a girl he sorta recognised, her names Cass-something. His eyes were drawn immediately to her halo.
Red.
A mean spirited and an Anger stand in the middle of a school hallway.
The jokes punchline isn't a funny one
Cass glared at this other person. She didn't know his name, but she knew his brother at least. And he was wearing green. Great.
"What do you mean, watch it? You're the one who bumped into me! You should watch where you're going! I don't have time to be stopped by dumb losers like you!"
Amity nods, shifting the books in her arm to nod. “Yeah…I did. I have no clue, but he’s been so mean to you that had to stop. I went against my color but I wasn’t going to let you get detention.”
Tenma laughed in her face,
"Really? Is that all you've got?"
He sighed, eyes down her stance,
"Bigs words for a illiterate slag."
Cassandra's eyes burned and she slapped Tenma, all her strength going into it. It left a clear red mark on the boy's face. "You better watch your mouth, Uyasayo. The shorter I am to you the more pain I can inflict on your shins and dick."
Tenma grinned, almost on par with his brother shit eating mouth,
"I'm not gonna pick a fight with a lady~" he teased,
"After all, I'm supposed to be mean, not outwardly aggressive."
Cassandra glared up at Tenma. "Is it cause you're scared I'll beat you? Huh? You look like you could be easily beaten."
His eyes narrowed, furious,
"What?" he scoffed, "fine, if that's how you wanna play this-"
He grabbed her by the hair and threw her in a circle, watching her stumble to catch her footing,
"Then come and get it!"
Cassandra's quick thinking somehow kicked in and she reached up to grab Tenma's hand. She wasn't strong enough or tall enough to pull him over her, but she could pull herself up to him. Which is what she did. In a quick movement, she used the fact that Tenma had his footings to pull herself up, kicking him in the face.
Amity nods, shifting the books in her arm to nod. “Yeah…I did. I have no clue, but he’s been so mean to you that had to stop. I went against my color but I wasn’t going to let you get detention.”
Frances smiled slightly. "Well, thanks. That was er nice of you."
Frances heard yelling and turned her head to where Tenma and Cassandra were. Green and Red. That wasn't going to end well.
(Ahhh- Im back! Im so sorry!!)
Damn- Zander thought, Trying to colect himself. Looks like red over here is picking fight's… Just how it always is. He though out loud, turning away. "I dont even understand the point of these damn halo's…" Zander Looked at the others and chuckled. "Well, That's red's problem."
Frances found herself agreeing to what Zander said. What was the point of the halos either way? Did they really need the halos or was it some type of mechanism so people could only use one type of emotion every week? What would happen if they went against they're color?
"You know, you're right. I don't understand the point of these stupid halos. Why do we even need them?" Frances mused.
Tenma stumbled back, cradling his bleeding nose,
"Ha! Bitch-" he got halfway through a swing before a teacher caught his arm,
"Right, both of you, Depts, NOW!"
(is that detention? i…..only know what aussie schools are like and if thats not detention i have no idea what it is….)
(oh lmao im aussie too thats so weird. you guys might call them the DPs or deans or something. It's just the deputy principles office)
(oh god my school must have a really different system to you we don't do that like ever. also my shit memory playing up because i completely forgot you were also aussie even though i knew)
Cass glared at the teacher, though she was slightly smug at making Tenma's nose bleed.
She stomped to the deputy's office, not caring if Tenma was following or not. She could get out of it more than he could. Especially if he didn't show up.
(Lmfao you have vice principle?)
And lo and behold, that's exactly what happened.
Tenma waited till the teacher had left them to bolt, not wanting to take his chances. He wiped his still bleeding nose has he walked up to his brother.
"Hey."
"He- yo what the fuck?"
(um no, actually. we just have a principal, and then our two heads. one is for the primary school and one is for the secondary school (we're a P-12 independent school). and then we have year level coordinators who look after one grade/cohort (this is only for secondary). and i'm pretty sure this other teacher like looks after all of the ylc's. oh and our head of secondary came when i was in either grade 8 or 9 (don't remember which, and i'm in grade 11 rn), as in he replaced the old one. he's pretty shit and has lowkey ruined a lot of what was fun - like we can't do free dress day anymore, it's basically "yeah it's free shirt day now because you have to wear your sports shorts and shoes but yeah you can wear whatever shirt you want but you might as well wear your sports shirt cause it's the only shirt that looks good with the sports shorts and shoes")
The bell rang for second period. Elizabeth sat down after taking out her earbuds, oblivious to the drama that had happened in the last few minutes. What's up with all the whispers? she thought, before the teacher started the lesson.
[sorry for not being very active! :( ]
Zander shifted his head to Frances. "It just controllers us…We have no control over it." He sighed
(AhHHhH Sorry it's short- I need to do something and I am cant think. )
(It's fine. I understand.)
"It'd be great if we could have control over our halos. I'm sick and tired that our halos get to choose what emotion we have to act like an–" The bell rung and cut her short. "Shit, I'm late."
She pushed past Zander and Amity and then starts running to get to her next class.
"Look- got no time-"
Tenma grabbed his brothers sleeve and tugged him into the boys bathroom,
"I got into a fight-"
"Clearly-"
"-and I wagged the depts, lets leave."
Kitsune frowned, he wasn't in the mood,
"Listen, man, I'm not skipping school cause you're a pussy."
He walked towards the door and cut in before Tenma could protest,
"Do it alone, asshole."
Amity pjresef her lips, looking around. She noticed the two brothers arguing and hummed. She had a free period and so started walking to them
