I'm not really sure where this belongs, so I'm putting it here
I'm writing a persuasive essay for my English class, and one of the comments my teacher made on the rough draft was in the middle of one of the paragraphs, between the two sources: "lead-in to next source". I'm not entirely sure what she means or how to do that? At the end of the paragraph, she put "you still need to pull it together". Does anyone know how to do this or have examples? I suck at body paragraphs :/
I think it just means that you have to do a better job tying the two sources together and making the reader understand why both sources are important.
Okay so for body paragraphs I recommend PEELI
Point (what you're saying)
Example (your source)
Explanation/Analysis (explaining what your source says and why it's valid and how it supports your point)
Link (how does this source compare with your other sources? Is it more/less reliable? why?)
Importance (why you made this subpoint in the scheme of your bigger argument and why it's valid)
