Would you immediately put this down because you don't understand what she means yet?
"I have spent the last four years looking for my brother's murderer. And, although it may seem strange, I've been so focused on finding his Author that I seem to forget I have one as well. I only have so many pages left, I'm sure, and my parents keeps reminding me that I should give up on finding my brother's Author before it's time for me to meet mine."
I don't think I'd put it down, it almost seems like it's comparing this characters life to a book, and I really like that.(Also that it eludes to mental trauma and that's fun to write/read) although I'm not the best critic
Awesome! That’s okay, I’m looking for different oppinions!
I definitely wouldn't put it down
@Qxeenscryche Great! Thanks for the input!
It's enough to keep me reading at least a couple pages. Further would of course depend on quality.
Hmmm I would keep reading at least a couple paragraphs, maybe flip to the summary on the bookcover/back to read what's happening.
Out of curiosity, is this a possible beginning for a short story or a book or anything?
@BrennaKadavsky It is a possible beginning for a book I'm writing :) (Hopefully the one I finally decide on!)
