I've got 3-ish stories that are kind of in varying stages of being written.

The first one is a series, and I'm currently working on book 2 (part of book 1 is on Wattpad, but it's not entirely edited yet nor have I finished posting it). Anyways, it's set in Victorian inspired setting and focusses on 4 main characters- Crispin, Kit, Caleb, and Eva who all have different powers (flight, telekinesis, pyrokinesis, and mind reading). It's not really illegal to have powers in this setting, but it was at one point so there's still some prejudice towards people with powers.
The story starts out when the four main characters are forced to leave their homes after their powers are discovered. They eventually learn about a safe haven so book 1 is pretty much about them trying to get there. In book 2 they're basically trying to figure out what the heck the villains are up to but it gets super complicated and messy. I have no idea what's going to happen in book 3, but there's a big plot twist that happens towards the end of book 2 and a lot of book 3 will probably be centered around it. I've also like, low key started to plan out a prequel about one of the side characters. Nothing is really set in stone other than the fact that it'll be about Kit's father (and maybe his mother as well?).

The second one was my camp NaNo project for last month. It's about a guy (Dallas) whose classmate goes missing about a month before the beginning of the story. Flash forward to the beginning of the story, the classmate ends up dead and Dallas finds out he has telepathic powers. The story is supposed to be Dallas and the other two side characters that also have similar abilities (Andor and Ara) trying to figure out how everything is all connected. Despite having this concept for a while, I actually have no idea where the story is going but I feel like it could be really cool if I could figure it out.

The third one is a concept that I came up with like 13 years ago. It's about a girl named Keyla who gets selected by the gods to become a Magic Keeper (which is just a fancy term for magic user in this world, but there's only ever 10 at a time so it's a big deal). It's not really a great time to be a Magic Keeper though because one of the Kings from a neighbouring kingdom is trying to basically monopolize the Magic Keepers so that he can weaken the other kingdoms. So Keyla has to learn how to use her magic so that she can protect her kingdom and basically stop this other king from taking over everything. Except it gets super complicated because this king is also a Magic Keeper which makes him literally the most powerful person in the world. It still needs some work as far as world building goes, but I'm hoping to have it together by November so that it can be my NaNoWriMo project.

Anyways, that was a lot of information, but I really love talking about my stories.

Those all sound really interesting! I don't mind the info dump, it really captured my attention and made me excited about the stories.

Wow, they all sound really cool! And I totally understand not knowing where to go with the plot lol, but I'm sure you'll figure it out sooner or later! Hopefully sooner though.

I got my baby story here:

My story is about a magic world called Evide where humans and fae live together. A special few humans, called mages, can bond with a fae to control powerful magic. These mages are highly renowned throughout all of the realms. Rori is the daughter of a famous light mage and healer, and aspires to follow in her mother's footsteps by attending the prestigious (if eccentric) Greenchild Academy for apprentice mages (young adult age, not high school). At the same time, the murderous terrorist group known as Septentrion makes its resurgence, seeking something the Academy is hiding. While Rori struggles to come to terms with her own self and power, she must discover her part in the bigger picture to protect those she cares about.

So another blurb of info cause that summary makes it seem like a school anime; this will be a dark fantasy comic that focuses on topics like moral dilemmas, prejudice, self-worth, and other fun stuff. I have it all scripted out but the draft is… in progress.

That sounds really good! I think all stories that center around the characters' journey are unique in their own way and very valuable.

I really hope I figure it out too because playing it by ear isn't really working for me. I know that some authors can just wing it, but I really find it difficult. I first came up with this idea in like 2014, I think? So it's been literally years so yeah hopefully sooner rather later. I think it's finally starting to come together, but it still needs a lot of work.

I'm already in love with this cast of characters. The story itself sounds really interesting as well.
