Hi yes I was writing a scene that will go somewhere in the middle of one of my books I've been planning and um yeah, I'm a bit stumped as to how I should end this scene??

So uh yeah, here it is:

Talrius finds himself falling for his Champion, Issalok, instead of the many possible brides his Clan, the Blodano, supply for him. He grows increasingly frustrated with himself, as Issalok seems to flirt with the castle girls endlessly, wooing them with his charm and charisma. He begins to pull away from Issalok, finding every excuse not to be near him even though they share living quarters. And when they are near each other, Talrius is irrationally angry/passive-aggressive.

One day, Talrius goes to attend a local celebratory party at a nearby tavern, and is forced to bring Issalok along for safety reasons. The one rule is that Issalok must be in the same room as Talrius at all times.

It goes well at first, a normal Bro x Bro conversation between them starts as they discuss taverns and liquors and various other related subjects. Then, when they order their drinks, Issalok flirts with the bartender and the few early arrivers that sat at the stools. Talruis boils internally and is slightly passive-aggressive for the rest of the night until he gets drunk (after giving his speech and a toast to the host). Talrius explodes after Issalok flirts with the waiter that came around to collect their drinks and then storms outside for some fresh air (this is the first time Talrius saw Issalok flirting with another male). A stranger, a local enby, approaches a very obviously frustrated Talrius and gives some helpful advice before departing at the sight of Issalok.

Issalok follows behind after a moment to find Talrius sitting alone, and the backside of a stranger walking away. Talrius remains silent as Issalok attempts an apology for what he thought he did wrong (flirting with a waiter directly in front of him).

Talrius stops him, saying that's not what's wrong at all. He struggles to get out the real reason he's been so distant and passive-aggressive lately. He tries so hard to let it out, but he's not drunk enough to say, so instead, he goes into a panic attack and tries to push Issalok and run away. Issalok follows and stops him before Talrius can run off far and brings him to a nearby isolated temple so the Prince can let it out in peace.

Issalok holds Talrius close to comfort and calm him, and succeeds after a while of doing this. Issalok questions the Prince again once he has a hold of himself. Talrius doesn't talk at first, but opens up about why he's been acting off. He refuses to look at Issalok as he does this. He pulls away and bows his head in shame.

Issalok…??? (i don't know how i should have him respond?!)
