So at one point in my fantasy world, my assassin is going to get poisoned (Irony~yay!). They have a habit of chewing on cinnamon sticks, so I thought it would be good to have a poison that makes your breath stink so it's noticeable before the effects really start to kick in. Also, it would be nice if the effects of the poison were similar to a contagious disease that could be going around the kingdom at the time. I'd research it on my own, except I thought you guys might have better ideas, and my search history is already rather suspicious.
well I'm not sure about the breath part, but if you want something that could plausibly be illness, then i suggest Rhododendrons and Azaleas. All parts of the plant are poisonous and they cause nausea, drooling, vomiting, slow pulse, low blood pressure, diarrhoea, seizures, coma, and eventually death. They take about six hours before the effects start to kick in. the really cool thing is that bees that have fed off them produce similarly poisonous honey.
Here are a couple links that may or may not help you;
For poisons that you can identify by smell, go here:

For a poison name generator (it's always good to have a terrifying name for really bad poisons) go here:

And for contagious diseases over time, go here:
oops wait hold on, here is the poison name generator (I copied and pasted the wrong one)

That is very cool! I grew up with a rhododendron bush and never had a clue! Also, the fact that it causes vomiting could handle the breath thing (I mean, who's breath really smells good when they're about to vomit?)! This is perfect, no one would think twice about a bit of honey (maybe in some cinnamon tea)! THANK-YOU! This is absolutely fantastic, I am super excited about this! Yay!
That poison smell identifier is amazing! Yay, these are amazing, and the poison name generator will be extremely helpful (I have trouble with names~ lots and lots of trouble)! Thank-you both so much!
Lol, you remind me of a character in this murder mystery called Strong Poison. The lady under suspicion for poisoning her former boyfriend with arsenic was discovered to have bought some a few days ago, but she swears she's innocent (the main character is a lord who is a detective for fun, and he believes her). She happened to be a writer who wanted to find out how easy it was for people to buy poison at a local drug store for a murder mystery she was writing, so she went and did it herself. XD (this was set back in the early 1900s or something btw)
But with you it's your search history.
