Brad didn't say anything to acknowledge her. Yet he did hear her, and if Caroline were to look she would see that. He wasn't trying to be rude… but he wasn't doing so great himself. So the two drove in silence all the way to Chelsea's house, for the party.

Caroline and Brad mmade it to the party and Caroline was sitting at a round table on a stool with her head down on it, she had pulled her hair in a tight ponytail and wasn´t really in a party mood

With Brad off to who knows where, Chelsea approached Caroline with a soft smile. "Hey… everything alright?" The blonde girl asked, pulling up a seat next to her. Her brown eyes showed worry, but her smile was trying to show comfort.

She sighed, ¨I don´t know Chelsea I just don´t ¨

"What do you mean?" She asked softly, leaning on her palm so she could hear Caroline better. "Is something really that bad?" Chelsea asked her softly, loud enough for her to hear over the noise of the party.

Chelsea took the hint, glancing over to him. "What about him?" She asked, turning back to Caroline. Confusion was written all over her face, as she didn't understand.

¨He wants brad gone and he wants me¨ she said.

Chelsea stood up, glancing over to Caroline. "Then I'll get him out." She said softly, pulling up her sweetest and most bright smile she could muster. "I think I saw Amber earlier, over with a group of your other friends. Why don't you go look for them?"

"hey no don't worry about him I can't stay long I have work in the morning" she said

"Oh come on Caroline, you need a little fun. You look so stressed." Chelsea sighed, crossing her arms over her chest. "Go look for your friends, I think you'll change your mind if you do."

"just stay away from him and I will" she said getting up she went to the pool edge dipping her feet in

Chelsea sighed, walking off as Caroline did. And when Caroline sat down, another girl sat besides her. "Hey Caroline… how are you?" The sweet tone of Rania-Rae, Lotus's sister and Caroline's close cousin, greeted with he perfectly set smile.

She layed her head on my shoulder " I miss my guy" she said

"Your guy?" Rania-Rae asked softly, turning her face so she could look at her. Her dark hair was framed around her face perfectly, pulled up in a bun on top of her head. "Do you mean Brad, or someone else?"

" Brad. . . I love him more than anything" she said

Rania-Rae smiled softly, leaning over to rest her head on Caroline's. "I'm happy to hear that. How's the whole relationship going?" She asked softly, resting her hand on top of Caroline's.

" I know he loves me but I just have a hard time believing anyone can " she said

"Why's that? You know I love you. I always have." Rania-Rae said softly, trying to understand why she would think Brad wouldn't love her. Clearly he did, Rania-Rae had heard about her getting engaged with him.

"I know it's just after everything " she shrugged

"That's true… but one day you're gonna have to realize there's a lot of people who love you. And I mean that. Lilly, and me. Brad, and all your other friends. Even that one boy, Arrow. He loves you, but maybe not in the right way."

"I should probably go spend time with my boyfriend but I'm not getting up" she said

"I won't make you do anything, Caroline. It's your choice." Rania-Rae hummed, lifting her head a bit and slid closer to the edge. "Are you gonna come swimming? Or can you not, because of girl stuff?"
