Brad glanced over at her worriedly, nodding just a bit to start his response. "Alright… if that's what you want." He mumbled, pulling in to a parking space of the store across the street.
Brad glanced over at her worriedly, nodding just a bit to start his response. "Alright… if that's what you want." He mumbled, pulling in to a parking space of the store across the street.
she leaned in and kissed his cheek
"Love you." Brad whispered as he got out of the car. "Text me if you need anything, I should be about five minutes at most."
She nodded with a small smile looking out her window
Brad quickly dashed off in to the store, leaving her in the car. It was quiet, all except the sound of a soft radio hum. Even outside was quiet. And among the silence, Caroline's phone dinged.
Caroline looked at her phone looking at the white notification she had gotten
It was a text message from Lilly, followed by another two or so messages popping up over top of it. Pictures were said to be in the message.
She read over the texts one by one
’Caroline! You have just got to see this!!’ Read the messages from Lilly, with two picture of Collins following. He had flowers, and a bright, boyish smile as he stood in the doorframe. He was in his swim suit, a simple white t-shirt pulled over his torso. ’He’s so sweet, I love him so much.’
She let a tear slip out 'Thats great lils'
(…Why is she crying?)
It took a moment for Lilly to reply, but not long. 'He stopped by on his way to Chelsea's. I can't believe he went so out of his way to bring these to me!' Lilly sent back still seeming super giggly.
´It´s Great Lily don´t you miss when life was simple no boys no tears no heartbreak´
The simple questions sent Lilly on high alerts, her response time becoming much quicker. 'Well, yeah… sometimes.' One of the messages came through, followed by another one straight after. 'But why ask? Is it something with you and Brad?'
´Ýour relationships perfect Brad and I fight we always fight I Love him but I don´t know if he does´
'Come on Caroline… you don't seem to see all sides to this. Me and Collins do not have a perfect relationship. We fight too.' Lilly put in, pausing for a second. 'And if you really don't think Brad loves you, why would he go to weeks of solitude after you were said to be dead? If he doesn't love you, then there's something I'm missing. Me and Collins don't always get along, it's part of the relationship. But if you're worried about always fighting, stop and take a look at the relationship. Is it all on him? Are you sure it's not also your fault?
'You know I love you, and I wouldn't ever mean to hurt you. But sometimes you forget that life isn't perfect. I don't mean just yours. Mine isn't, Brad's isn't, no one's is. There's things you don't know, that cause problems. So if you're worried, talk to him.'
´I´ve tried Lily I´m scared´
'Of what? Of Brad? Because you should know he won't hurt you.' Lilly sent in, waiting patiently for her response.
´I´ve been scared ever sinc he slapped me of all guys all time´
'You can't blame him. There were multiple factors to that Caroline. He hadn't slept, he was having a bad day, you were keeping secrets from him. You know he has a hard time with anger management. He's tried so hard to fix that.' Lilly pointed out, trying her best to stay sweet. 'Also, if you would remember, that was months ago. Has Brad ever done anything to physically hurt you since?'
¨you wouldn´r understand bye lily´
'Nuh-uh! You're not going to push me away like everyone else. I'm your sister, and I demand to know what's going on. Just because I don't "understand" doesn't mean I'm incapable of understanding. Tell me what's going on. I know what it's like to be used, and abused. Arrow has done it to me too. I'm not your sweet and innocent sister. I know how life works. So just tell me what's going on.' Lilly sent back in reply to her trying to blow her off.
´You were always dad´s little girl you had parents I didn´t So you think about that and Goodbye´
No more messages popped up from Lilly. Her phone wasn't beeping, or signifying any kind of alerts. So the car went back to being quiet. There was barely any noise as the tension seemed tight.
Caroline shook her head closing her eyes.
With their conversation over, Brad seemed to come up to the car in a matter of seconds afterwards. Pulling the car door open, he climbed in and set the drinks in the back. He didn't say a word as he started to pull out of the parking space.
