She smiled"yeah"
She smiled"yeah"
"M'kay, good." He purred, pressing a kiss to her cheek before pulling back and running off to go get ready.
She giggled and started washing the dishes
After quickly pulling some clothes on, and packing a small backpack with clothes, Brad slung it over his shoulders so he could carry Caroline’s too. Walking out of their room, he shut the lights off with a soft smile. “Ready, babe?”
She grabbed her small bag from the counter and slipped the straps over her shoulders
“Who’s car are we taking?” He asked, pulling her into a loose hug.
'mine" she said
"Then you're driving?" He asked softly, taking a moment to remember he didn't own his own car. "And it's a good thing, otherwise we'd be on the back of my motorcycle for a long time. All three of us."
She giggled " silly bradie"
Brad seemed to stiffen at her words, getting rather uncomfortable. "Mmm… I don't like that nickname…" He whispered, pulling back from her.
"you know we have a brother named Brady and we used to call him Brad" she sighed heading towards the door
"I…I just don't like Bradie… for me." He mumbled again, following after her in silence. "Brady is a cool name, and I do like it. But not for myself."
"don't mention it won't come out of.my mouth again" she said "could you not call me Caro" she asked
"O-oh, I…I mean yeah. If it really bothers you." Brad told her, still seeming a little distant after the nickname. "I didn't know it bothered you."
"well it does"she said
"Why didn't you say anything?" He asked her softly, counting over a dozen times he had used that nickname.
"because you liked to call me it" she said
Sighing softly, he crossed his arms over his chest defensively. "And you want to call me Bradie, right?"
" no that was a one time thing" she said
"Is there anything else I'm doing, that you don't like? Might as well put it all out right now." He asked, just as softly from before.
She shook her head with a sigh leaving the house
As she left the apartment, he went around shutting off all the lights and grabbed his keys. Brad hummed softly, pressing his lips together as he walked out the door and locked it.
She was in her convertible running her hands through her hair
Brad put his backpack in her trunk, before climbing into the front seat next to her. He still seemed rather dazed, his thoughts wandering as he sat there.
She quickly drove to Thomas's in silence
