The class seemed to drag on, but finally came to an end with the sound of the shrill bell. Everyone seemed to have gotten up quickly, and was heading out the door. "Caro?" Brad asked softly, putting his things away.
The class seemed to drag on, but finally came to an end with the sound of the shrill bell. Everyone seemed to have gotten up quickly, and was heading out the door. "Caro?" Brad asked softly, putting his things away.
She turned around to face him
"Baby-doll, something is bugging you. And I hate to keep asking, but what's wrong?" Brad asked her softly, getting up from his seat to bend down in front of her. "I can clearly tell there's something wrong.
" I don't feel like discussing it with you" she said
Pulling back from her, a little surprised and a little hurt, he nodded weakly. "Al…alright… I'll see you at lunch I guess…" He mumbled, standing himself up and grabbing his backpack. Quickly he was out the door off to his next class. Alone.
She sighed and left the room and found Kaylee those three girls had always tourmented the tigers threatened them
Kaylee had caught sight of Caroline, giving her a bright smile. "Caroline! I was hoping I would see you today." The sweet girl beamed brightly, holding her arms out for a hug.
She hugged her but then pulled away " you'll never believe who's back in town"
"I already believe you. Lauren already tried to tear me down earlier. Lucas didn't like that in the slightest." Kaylee sighed, linking arms with Caroline. "Let's just hope things don't get any worse. We've both got each other, and Maggie too. If we just stick together, they won't bother us."
" I might've hurt Brad's feelings but he was all like don't be rude caro" she said
"Have you told him? He might not even know." Kaylee pointed out, raising an eyebrow to try and prove her point. "He isn't one of us. He doesn't know everyone we do. Same for us. He's a cobra, he knows people we don't. We've all had our own bad experiences."
" Madeline stole my boyfriend" she said talking about arrow
Biting into her lip, Kaylee caught sight of Star flirting with a group of guys. "Then you need to tell Brad that. Give him a warning, in case one of the snake like sisters tries to get to him. It's no surprise Star is already looking for a new boyfriend. Brad would probably seem like a good choice in her eyes."
She sighed " I'm gonna be sick" she said as the girls walked over
"Like actually, or just because of… her?" Kaylee asked softly, leading Caroline pass the girl and her group of boys going gaga over her. Clearly Star knew how to wrap the boys around her finger really quickly. Which wasn't really great news.
" Because of her" she said
Nodding gently, Kaylee pulled her along quicker so they could get farther away. "Just ignore her. None of those guys, but one I'm assuming, will even remember her tomorrow."
She sighed shaking her head
When lunch came around Caroline walked into the lunch room holding her tray
The room was packed, students filling in almost every gap. There were a few tables still. Collins and Lily were sitting together, along with Kaylee, Lucas, Jasper, and Maggie. There was still room at the table, as they were saving a spot for Caroline and Brad.
Caroline walked over and sat down by Lucas
"Oh, hey Caro! How are you today?" Lucas asked her, arm around Kaylee with a warm smile. "Having good classes, I'm hoping."
"I have three classes with star so far" she groaned
Lucas's smile dropped, letting out a sigh. "Has she been bothering you in the classes? I can go fix that, before you're stuck in another one with her." Lucas offered, leaning his head against Kaylee's.
She shook her head looking in the cafeteria for star
"If you're sure Caroline." Lucas hummed, putting his focus back on Kaylee while they sat at the table. "I'll be right back." Lily hummed, getting up from the table and heading off leaving Collins there. "I need to thank you personally, Caro." Collins said quickly as Lily walked off.
