"W-what!?" He asked rather confused. "Y-you're the leader!?" He asked her again, blinking in surprise.

She nodded looking down tracing her fingers over her tattoo

"I… do you instantly hate me now?" He asked weakly, the look of brokenness on his face.

" would I be here fixing you up" she asked

"I don't know…" He whispered, chewing on his lip nervously. Nothing was seeming straight to him, everything was way out of proportion. "I really don't, please… just tell me."

" Brad I love you and will continue to love you I'm so sorry Jane got to you but if you don't want to be with me anymore I'll understand" she said

"N-no! I love you… with all of my heart." Brad whispered, beginning to break down in tears in front of her. "Sh-she said you… you didn't though. J-Jane said you hated me… like everyone else."

" what all did she say about me" she asked

"She… she said you never cared, that you were just using me. You worked for her, and the reason things kept getting shaky was because you didn't ever love me." He whispered, choking back his tears. "I… I can't repeat the rest. I don't want to think about it."

" Hey look at me I love you so much Brad more than life itself so Brad Hoax do let anyone come between us because I can tell you honestly that I hope one day to be Mrs Caroline Hoax" she said

Looking up to her, he scooted closer and pulled her into a hug. "I promise you will be. As long as your sister doesn't kill us first." He whispered, kissing on her neck delicately. His hold on her was firm, but not tight enough to hurt her. "I love you."

" I love you too Brad…so much" she said

"You should go see your sister." He whispered, pulling back to kiss her lips. "I have my own sister to go see. I could also go with you, if you'd like." Brad offered, nuzzling her cheek with his nose softly.

" your sisters doing well she's out there by the bar" she said

"I still want to make sure myself." He hummed, pecking her cheek.

She smiled " let me finish you up" she said

"Fine, fine." He chuckled, sitting back on the edge of the counter. "Do you have bandages for my back? That's what hurts the most." Brad informed her, running a hand through his short curls on the top of his head.

"I know baby I'm sorry" she said tears welling up in her eyes

Looking to her, he frowned softly. "Hey, hey, what's wrong?" He asked weakly, cupping her cheek to wipe her tears away. "Is it something I said princess? Something I did?"

" it's my job to keep the tigers in check but I couldn't I couldn't control my sister and because of that five people are hurt I couldn't even protect my own boyfriend" she said

"Princess, there was nothing you could do. Jane is literally insane, even if we weren't dating, she probably would've gone rouge." Brad whispered to her, kissing her cheek. "If Arrow hadn't said where I was, then I would be safe. So would my sister, and whoever else got hurt on the way. This had nothing to do with you not doing your job. There's a lot more to it than that."

A tear rolled down her cheek " she got Lily"

"Was that your fault though?" He asked softly, pressing his forehead to hers. "I'll tell you, no. It wasn't. If you weren't around, or even if you were, there was clearly nothing you could do babe."
