She was fast asleep one hand on his knee

He reached over, and picked up the remote. The volume was low, and he put on a movie as he sat there with her.

She shivered lightly in her sleep

Frowning, he reached out for a blanket, and tossed it over her. "There, relax princess."

In her sleep she gripped the blanket and nestled her head in his thigh

A smile spread on his lips, and he gently played with her hair. He had twisted it into a short braid mindlessly.

Caroline made cute snoring sounds

"You're so gorgeous." He whispered, tracing her body with his gaze.

Caroline only snuggled deeper into him

He turned back to his movie, a warm smile on his lips.

Caroline gently fluttered her eyes open

Brad was still playing with her hair, invested in the movie now. He was whispering to himself, the melody of some unknown song, as he focused on the television screen.

Caroline started to draw shapes on his knee

This caught his attention. He looked back down to her, and his soft singing stopped. "Hey sugar, how was your nap?" He asked softly, rubbing her shoulder tenderly.

" good" she almost whispered

"You sure?" He asked, loosening the grip he was forcing onto her shoulder. "You sound a little off to me."

" I'm just a little Drowsy" she said

"I can always wake you up~" He teased in a sing-song tone. Smirking, he leaned down to his best extent, and kissed her cheek.

She smiled Tiredly at him

"If you want to go back to sleep, I can carry you to your bed." He smiled at her, running his hands through her hair now.

She shook her head

"You sure?" He asked, sitting back up and leaning back into the couch.

¨Yeah. . .´ she said

"OK princess, if you're positive." He smiled, and turned to the movie once more.

She looked at the clock she knew Thomas would be over soon to work on a project
