I know this is oddly specific, but basically I'm trying to write a story where this really unfriendly, reclusive, emotionless loner guy meets a sociable, good-hearted, cheerful guy, and they slowly become closer and closer friends until by the end they'd literally die for each other. One of the key scenes I want to write is the first time the sweet guy makes the loner guy laugh, like a real laugh. Trouble is, I have no idea what it is that the sweet guy does/says that's so funny. My hope is that if I hear some stories of real-life scenarios similar to this, I'll gain some inspiration. It doesn't have to be a "what made you laugh" story, it could also be "what you did that made others laugh" story. If anybody wants to help me out here, I'd really really appreciate it! ^^
One time, my friend stuck carrots up her nose than laughed so hard they fell out, that's the first time I laughed at her.
My best friend and I were talking and he jokingly said I would be the next Dictator of America, I laughed yhen patted him on the head and told him he would be my seccond in comand.
This is so sweet. I can’t remember what the first laugh was, but I still smile when I remember how he used to mispronounce my name.

Well, the first time I made a friend laugh was by making musical puns one after the other becuase our assigned seats were next to each other.
My ex bff first made me laugh by dancing around the commons in a really weird way
I can't remember the first time but knowing our maturity levels back then I probably fell over while taking my first ever steps and her legit 1-year-old self found it hilarious
We've been besties since before I was even born so I have many stories but I can't think of them…
One of the more recent times involves those stUPID FREAKING MLP FANFICTIONS THAT LEGIT FOLLOW ME EVERYWHERE
I was talking to her on our discord call with her ex-crush and another friend, this was one of the first times I ever spoke to them, so of course, she was doing her best to embarrass me. Somehow the conversation went from "tell them about your weeb music" to "hEY REMEMBER YOUR MLP PHASE FROM LIKE 8 YEARS AGO", and after laughing about it for 10 minutes I realized that no one in the call, including my best friend, had ever known about my old Pinkie Pie stories, the ones I wrote before even knowing how to capitalize letters…
So I ended up having to dig through the files of my old computer, slowly sending the story paragraph by paragraph, and then we all took turns reading this really awful pinkie pie fanfiction written by an actual 6-year-old in a terrible excuse for a British accent.
…And she laughed at it.

Oh my gosh, my best friend made me laugh all the time so it’s hard to think of the first haha 😂. I can’t remember an exact time but I remember when I made my whole group laugh! We were all sitting at the lunch table for breakfast and everyone was chatting, giggling, etc. I remember I called out one of my friends asking him if he wanted to fight (as a joke). He said “Yeah! >:)” And I said “ OK Bakugan BRAWL!!” And I threw a Bakugan on the table and we all bust out laughing XD
