So I want to be able to write better poems, but…I'm not very good at it. Does anyone have some tips/tricks to get better at writing them?

You just kind of have to…do it, man. It comes with practice. Read poems, write poems, they’ll get better with time. Just gotta find your flow, and that takes a bit of writing

Though! I can say, don’t do that thing people do when rhyming where they rearrange the words of a sentence or phrase to get the rhyme, unless it def makes sense. Or ignore me completely, because writing poems is about creativity, not listening to some hack named after the most blasphemous shoe known to man tell you how to write
